Wouldn't you think that in a world where you age until you are 18, then stop until you meet your soulmate so you can grow old together sound like a happy lifestyle? And that when you meet them a blue line appears on both of their wrists, when one falls in love with the other their line turns red, when they both fall in love with each other both their lines turn black, and when one dies the line turns into a scarred line sound like an organized life? How everyone would live happily with their soulmate forever?
Wrong.

Kim Taehyung was on the subway when he bumped into her.
He felt a burning sensation on his wrist and looked down to see a thin blue line on his wrist. He looked up to see the girl he bumped into has it too, and it looked fresh. She seemed to notice too and smiled.
Great, Taehyung thought, not in the mood to take out another person who was supposed to be his entire life now.
"Hey," the girl purred, standing in front of Taehyung while holding onto the poll in the middle of the subway. "So, I guess you're my soulmate now? What's your name? Mines Jennie." The girl -Jennie- smiled, eyeing Taehyung up and down. He cringed.
"I'm... Taehyung," he forced out, flashing a closed-mouth smile at Jennie. Had to be friendly to gain trust. Jennie seemed to be excited to have Taehyung as her soulmate; this is probably her first one, seeing that she only had one blue line on her wrist from just now. Taehyung had nine scarred lines and one blue one. He hid his wrist with his sweater sleeve, considering it was early October so it was chilly outside.
"Cute name," Jennie said, looking past Taehyung. "Wanna do something tonight so we can get to know each other?" she smiled.
"Sure... you going anywhere after this? We could go to my house," Taehyung suggested and shrugged, wanting to be over this soulmate already.
"Sounds like a plan," she mused, excited that she got a cute boy as her soulmate. Jennie wasn't in love yet or anything, but she did think that Taehyung was cute.
Taehyung forced a smile, grateful that he brought his blade in his bag. The subway finally stopped and Jennie followed him off excitedly. Taehyung felt like Jennie was rushing things with them, even though she wouldn't make it past today for sure.
"So, where do you live?" Jennie asked, breaking Taehyung out of his train of thoughts. He smirked.
"Oh, just over here. Let's take a shortcut though," Taehyung lied. He actually lived on the other side of town. Jennie nodded.
They turned left into an alley, Taehyung leading the way. "Well, this is an interesting shortcut," Jennie commented, nervously looking around. "Are you sure we went the right way?"
"Oh, I'm sure," Taehyung smirked. "Lets make this quick," he mumbled under his breath, leading Jennie further into the alley until they were out of sight. "Now, promise me you'll be quiet?"
"Sure... about what?" Jennie asked innocently. Taehyung smiled and pulled out his blade, causing Jennie to gasp. "What~" she started panicked, about to scream, but was cut short when Taehyung put a hand over her mouth. "Shh, you said you'd be quiet, right? Just stay silent and do what I say," he said sternly but seductively. Jennie nodded, tears filling her eyes.
