Oftentimes, I see you at your best
Yet you see me at my worse
Oftentimes, I trust you
Yet you fail to understand that one plus one equals twoI understand you every single moment of the day
Even if you give me more reasons not to do the same
I give you the same smile
While you keep giving me sighsNow, we separate ways
And walk pass over one another
The once plural, us
Becomes a singular you, singular me.
