// hello everyone. Yes, it's what every reader dreads: an authors note. But, this is just to inform you of a few things that need to be addressed. In the spirit of the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming, I have decided to post this book. This book is about Peter Parker, or Spider-Man, as he is also called. However, it has no connections with Homecoming or any of the previous movies. The plot is just, a fabrication of mine. The character of spidey and a few others are not mine, nor do I claim them. They all belong to Marvel. However, I do claim my own characters as well as the majority of the storyline. I do plan on this being a series, so be ready to expect more. I'm not certain on the exact timeframe I'll use to update the book, but I shall try to be constant. That being said, I truly hope you enjoy the book!

High School..... I'm willing to bet, that at the simple mention of those two words, multiple scenarios popped into your head. They're either personal experiences that you went through or even scenes from a movie or book.

Perhaps you thought of High School Musical: we're all in this together. Or even Mean Girls: you can't sit with us.

Now, whether the word High School makes you think of those dreadful final exams that taunt you at night, reminding you that you didn't study enough to pass, or the terror of attending prom on your own or having to ask someone to prom, or even dealing with the daily tyranny of the "popular" kids, it's a place that changes you forever: for better or for worse, there's no in between. Now, I'm not here to delve into the topic of high school, cause, who'd want to read a book about a teen ranting about high school? Well, maybe a few of you would. But nothing truly worth ranting about is actually occurring in my high school. Nah. See, I'm here to simply share one of my- well, it's actually more than one of my experiences that I went through in my first year of high school, back when I was a freshie. Which was, last year actually. Not that long ago. But I've come a long way in that time, I will say that. A year is plenty of time for your life to be turned around and that's exactly what happened to me. Oh, I just realized, I never introduced myself. Name's Peter, Peter Parker.
