Why?

Little brother. (Neko oneshot)

Dani laughed, looking over at their brother. He may be a teen now but he will always act like a child. After 15 and 17 years of age you would think the pair would be at least be a little bit mature, but no! Their the silliest people out there, or so people think.

The siblings always act like everything is fine, when in reality it's not. They have taken care of them selfs since they where a young age, growing up in a house that didn't support them left them to fight for their own-which for the younger boy wasn't too hard.

As the children where growing up, different things where noticeable.

By the time boy was ten his family hated him for being different, they hated their 'daughter' for helping their son.

The boy, or Christian, was what you would call a neko. His family hated him for that, they couldn't stand having a son who was 'part cat.'

They still lived/live in that house, with those people. They practically raise themselves most days though.

"Dani! Christian! Come make food!" Their mother called, ordering her children to come downstairs. The kids (not wanting to be punished) got dressed and headed down stairs as soon as possible.

"Christian?" Dani asked, fiddling with their sweater.

yes?" He looked at his sibling, waiting to hear what they have to say. "You forgot to put on your ha-"

Their mother interrupted, looking at her.. Son. "How dare you show those things!" She yelled, pulling at the boys ears. He whimpered, moving towards his sister, them trying to calm the younger down, unsuccessfully. "You are a disgrace to the family, never show those things around me again!" She sneered, thankfully not punishing the boy.

"Are you okay?" Dani asked once their mother left the kitchen. "God, I hate that women." They added.

Christian nodded, "I hate her too, and I'm fine. I just need to put my hat on. Stay here and eat." Their brother replied. They nodded and continued cooking the food.

They rest of the day the siblings spent at their friends house, acting like the children they are.

"It's my turn!"
"No it's mine!" They argued, laughing about the stupid game. "Fine then, no one will play!" Dani playfully yelled, crossing their arms.

"Fine then!" Christian pouted, curling up on the floor.

Dani moved closer, giggling at how cute their brother can be sometimes. Petting behind his ear.

"Such a good kitty." They praised, though they sounded like a five year old.
They enjoyed playing with their brother and acting like a child, it gave them a break from the all the bull shit at their house.

Christian purred at the affection Dani was showing him, slowly falling asleep.
