Prologue

It's UA High's nationwide famous School Festival today.
UA High. The birthplace of most Top Heroes in Japan.
UA High, where All Might himself was taught and teaching currently.

UA High, the top school in all of Japan is holding their School Festival...
WITH OUR SCHOOL?!

Er, that literally defeats the purpose of having a School Festival?!
Also, S C H O O L Festival. That's YOUR school, not ours! Why do we have to join in?!

Well, if I get to see the total cutie Ochaco Uraraka, I'm fine with that.
(Oh. I just triggered a lot of people there.)

I'm Aruku Kotai. An averag--
You know what? No. Let's not start with those cliche introductions. We all know being a protagonist already puts you above average.
What?

Aruka Kotai, a student of Marika Kagaku High School. I have messy, brown hair with a slender and tall frame. My quirk's 'Vibration'.
I know what you're thinking. 'Vibration? Sounds like a useless quirk!'. I know, I get that a lot. They also talk about some 'other applications for it in the bedroom', but I can never get what they're talking about.

Again, my quirk's Vibration. I'm able to move 2-3 parts of my body in a very limited range of motion nearly at the speed of sound, giving the illusion of-- vibrating. Depending on my emotions and mood, my quirk gets stronger or weaker. With this quirk too, it's very obvious when I'm lying and nervous.

"Oi, Aruku."
Sitting on the bus, a familiar voice calls to me.
"Stop daydreaming about Uraraka already!"
I grin from this insult.
"Oh, you too. You just finished daydreaming about Todoroki too, haven't you?"
The girl sits back down and smirks.
"Yeah..."
Spot on.

The noisy girl beside me was Katsura Yuzai. She is of below average height, but she's not small.
She has a 'Wind' quirk. She has the ability to manipulate the air around her into a weapon, like her own crush-- Todoroki. She can also (though not as well) lower or increase the pressure of air around her, therefore also lowering and increasing the temperature. Like her crush too, she is the combination of her parent's quirks.
No, we're not a couple.

We've arrived at UA, where we're gonna be staying.

WAIT-- DORMS?! WHAT?!
ISN'T THAT SUPPOSED TO BE IN A MUCH LATER ARC?!
Wait, what's an arc?

This year's School Festival is different from the usual formats. From morning to noon, the schools are gonna do normal sports-- but you can use your quirks. From noon to around evening will be when the real fun starts-- battles! Each day there will be about 3 from any of the students from the 2 schools.

I, myself play Volleyball as sports, because Haikyuu! and all.
Nah, I joined the Volleyball team because I found it fun and was somehow really good at it.
My quirk can't do much with it, though.

The sound of someone knocking on my room makes me snap back to reality.
"Oi, It's me. I'm not disturbing your 'private happy time' with Ochaco, am I?"
What does she mean?
But, I knew this girl.

"What is it, Katsura?"
Just a moment ago, I was laying in bed with my hands on my... forehead, just thinking about what the hell's gonna happen in the next few days.

"Louise is calling for you."

Jumping up in excitement, I quickly go to the door and open it.
Louise Tamoya, a short girl with equally short, curly jet black hair. Her quirk's 'Sudden Infatuation' which is exactly what it sounds like. Once she touches and wills you to fall for her, there's no stopping her. Fun fact, I've confessd my feelings to this girl many times, but she always think it's because of her quirk and brushes me off.
