Hayden's house was just about 3 blocks away from the school. It was a pretty cream color with rose bushes around it. His dad passed away when Hayden was 7. We could his mum wasn't home because their  Blue 2017 Chevrolet Camaro wasn't in the drive-thru. Hayden pulled out his keys and unlocked the door. We went in. Its so lovely like a fairy garden! The house smelled of vanilla and gingerbread cookies and the little decorations were so cute! I walked in the kitchen. On the table was an angel cake on a beautiful plate. It had some type of language on it that I couldn't read. I found a cookbook on the counter. The title was Kelly's Cooking. I flipped through it. Chicken Liver Spread..Bake Shop Krispies..Mm, Honey-Smoked Pork Tenderloin! Butthis one recipe caught my attention.Chocolate Truffle Pudding. "Hayden! Want to try something new?!" I shouted. He came in the kitchen. "Yeah what?" Hayden said. He scratched his fiery hair. "Cooking." I said and gave me a sadistic grin. "Oh no. Not after what happened last time." Hayden said with a chuckle. Last time with tried cooking without Hayden's mom the oven set on fire (We totally forgot about our brownies.) and they had to get entire new oven. "Please! I promise I'll watch it carefully!" I whined. Those chocolate truffles looked so good. "Fine. But IF ANYTHING happens, i'm pinning the blame on you!" He said playfully. "Alright. So what are the ingredients?" He said. His green eyes sparkled in wonder. "Okay..We need 1 cup of milk.."

2 hours later

"Welp, that's a wrap." I sighed. Those truffles came out perfectly! My mouth was watering at the sight of them. We took them out of the oven and looked at them with pride. I gave one to Hayden and got me one and I took two of them and wrapped them up for my mom and my older brother. "I'm home!" Hayden mum said. She was a beautiful lady with golden hair and her green cat like eyes. I loved her skin tone and the way she was always glad to see me. She is in her late 30's but she look so young! "Well isn't it my favorite girl? Hi Madison!" She gave me a genuine grin. "Your mother called me a few seconds ago and, she wants you to be home in about 15 minutues." She gave me a sad frown. But it quickly fanished. "I know! I'll ask if you can spend the night. It'll be girl's night! We'll do each other toes and nails and hair do's and gossip about boys!" She giggled. "Are you up for it?" She asked me. Her eyes were shining and I would hate to see her disappointment. "Sure!" I keep clothes at Hayden house just in case so we won't have to travel back home. "Oh my god yes!" She squealed in delight. "Hayden, you are welcomed to join us if you liked." She gave him a kind smile. "Sure mom. But I refuse to wear any pink and purple!" He declared.
