Chapter 1~ A Foretelling Dream

        It was a warm summer evening and the summer bazing sun was coming to a rest the harizon. From my window I can see the young cabin boys playing with woden swords. Those boys on the beach try so hard to be tough, to be able to stand next to  a captain or even be a captain of a ship. Most of the ships in our town come with god, silver, spices, tea or something new from a far away land. My father is one of those men, he is the captain of a ship that goes out and finds new things. My mother smetimes goes ot with him as a medic. THey leave me a home with  a servent. Since I'm a female I cant go to school, but my parents make me study and read. Since I'm not like the rest of the girls and I'm obviously not a guy I have no friends. I stay inside or wonder the old boardwalk.

   At dinner my father and mother spoke of a new trip for a large sum of gold ad how his ship was best fit to bring it back to town."Why does our town need more gold if we don't use it" I questioned my father."It makes our town richer and can bring benefits t us" my father said with a smile as he chugged on his vodka. As their daughtr yes i've been on the ship but never went on their adventures."May I come..." my voice silenced the house.My parents shared some glances before my father took another sip of his vodka which was definitely from somewhere far away because I couldn't read the label, "sweetheart , Eevey you can't come with us. You're just a fragile little girl."

"But father I'm not im already 16 I can help mother, I promise I wont cause trouble" I pleaded but my father shook his head. Standing up I slammed my hands down on the old wooden table,"you never let me go ANYWHERE!" I slammed my chair ans excused myself from the table. The sun was now set and the sky was filled with stars. I won't let them top me from going on a ship, they don't think im strong enough.... I'll show them. Tht night I starte to plan everything out, if the ship leaves it dock around 9:00 a.m so I must rest now for this to go down properly.

     As I rest my head on my pillow, I tss and turn but eventually fall into  slumber. As day awakens I'm aware I'm asleep but I see something.....I'm dreaming. I seem to be in a embrace...my faces is looking at a mirror, I seem to be in my small bathroom. A tall man is embracing me, he wore a lighter navi blue sailor coat and his light brown hair was streaked with golden streaks of hair. his stopped hugging me and stared at the mirror, I wasn't aware what was going on and just stared at him. he had a small moustache and some hair growing in a non-existing beard. His hair blocked his eyes so I decided to mak my awareness known......."hey!"

     He slowly turned and his crystal eyes pierced through my soul. he spoke but no sound came out. I woke up.... the sun was already up! Dammit I looked out my window and noticed the sail was already up on my fathers boat! I got dressed and went to find my father, when i saw him he opened his mouth to speak but I cut him off,"may I have some coins? I would lik to buy some new books!" my father closed his mouth and looked around for some money," why don't you just find a nice girl down by the medic house? you can meet a nice friend." My fther oftn offered me to find a friend, knowng I have none."None of them like me.... they think I'm a witch.." I hung my head down but my father reach out a small sac of coins.

   I thanked him and I ran out the door, a small cloud of dust followed me as I ran towards the market in my town. My head shot from left to right looking for mens wear. finally I found one and bought basic sailor clothes for cheap, thanking the gentleman who helped me. I was heading towards the boats when I crossed paths with a well dressed young man," excuse me miss I happen to notice your extravagant beauty, would you like to go to the towns tea house for a lovely lunch?" I looked around and noticed everyone looking at me, mostly girls.This guy must be a high up dude in my town." No thanks I gotta go" I moved asside and started running back home.

    I threw on the clothes I bought and put my hair back in a lazy ponytail. I started o head towards the ship and rubbed dirt on me so  look a little more like the people on deck, no one seemed to question me as I followed what everyone did. The boat started to go, I looked around as we sailed the sea, I stared off into the distance in amazement, the sea was so wide and even in the distance I can see new town. Its always been my dream to go out to see the world but my parents don't e me because since I'm female they believe I should stay home, but here I am on my fathers ship.  We arrived  the dock and it was a rush off, everyone scrambled to get off. when I got off I decided not to do anything crazy or draw attention. I just wanted to feel accomplished. I wandered the market by the docks when I spotted it, a book. The book was about map reading!

 I love maps and want to make them  to help my father, that way I can go on trips with my father, I just need that book. Dammit! I don't have enough coins...... maybe.... if I...just....... take it. Grabbing the book I begin to walk away and then-
