Z nation: 10k love tragedy

                           Pre-z

I was walking to my house from school when I felt a little knot in my stomach. Something felt different? The air felt cold for it to be a hot day.. I ran home feeling sick. I quickly got in the house. Slamming the door. I see the T.V and it's on the news channel. I heard they said to "lock your doors, get ready, and NEVER I repeat never open your doors for ANYONE!" The news lady said.

I heard growls coming from outside and from the T.V. I ran to look for anyone in the house I open the door to see my sister laying there being eaten. I covered my mouth with my hand in shock. I started to cry and saw her put her hand up telling me to help her. When the 'thing' looked my way it was my mother. I closed the door. I go get something my dad kept locked up. Ever since me and my dad watched zombie movies and tv shows, he set an extra room scared if the zombie apocalypse might break out. I grabbed a machete and went back to the room with my sister and my mom. I slowly opened it to see my... That thing eating my sister.

I cried again. My- that thing slowly got up and started walking to me. I got my machete ready and put it right through it's head. I looked at my sister who now is also slowly getting up and growling at me. I did the same thing to her. I started to walk up stairs and look into all the rooms.

I still had to look for my little brother and My dad. I open my brothers room and saw my dad and brother crouching in a corner my dad holding on to Alec aka my brother , sobbing My dad looked up to see me. He smiled. He came up to me and kisses my forehead. "You're alive where's your mom and sister?" He asked. I tensed up and looked down. "Oh...." he said looking down I knew he was crying I hugged him. I cried also I made a hand signal to my brother telling him he can join.

                           Now

I was walking down the road. I looked down and then look at my 10 year old brother. He was only 6 when the apocalypse broke out. I took great care of him. I look at my dad he was silver. I'm still astonished he survived zombie bites.

I heard a car come to a halt. I turn to Alec and my dad. I gave my dad his knife and pistol. Alec held his gun up same with my dad. A woman with black hair and dark skin came out of the car. She put her hands up in surrender. "Hey,hey we don't want any trouble" I slowly lowered my gun. "Okay good, I'm Roberta Warren, No one would mind more people in the group and it would help killing those Z's"  The- Roberta said. "Deal?" She extended her arm so I can shake her hand in agreement. I shook it. "Ugh more peo-" a man with silver skin like my dad's said. "Now why is his skin like mine?" He asked. I gulped I hated talking about this. "I got bit by those things and some way I survived" my dad said. Everyone looked surprised. I grabbed my brothers hand and lifted him so he can go in the back of their truck. My dad went in the back seat and we were in the thing? I really don't know. 4 years in this hell hole and I forgot what this is called. I scoffed at myself. "I don't know if we can trust these people Heidi" Alec said. I sighed I put my mouth to his ear and whispered "I know but do you really think that we'll survive on our own? There's only three of us c'mon Alec we have no choice but to trust them". He nodded. "I guess, Fine." He shrugged. When he found out mom died that really took a turn on him. He was a momma boy and he said he feels empty without her... we all do. I hugged my knees.

The car stopped. I looked up and saw a high school. "Come on" Warren said. "We're gonna split up me and Garnett, addy and Mack and doc oh hey never caught your name" She asked "Heidi" I replyed blankly. "Doc,Heidi and who I'm guessing is her brother?" I nodded. After a while of searching doc found a cage with a girl in it. She looked like a hooker I stiffled a laugh at the thought of that. My brother gave me a look. "Hey maybe there's a way to get her out?" Alec looked for a key or some sort. I didn't realized now but she may be one of those things. My smile quickly faded. "HEY!" I screamed. Doc shushed me Alec gave me a crazy look. It attracted Z's. I grabbed my machete and started to kill them. One of those things got doc and before I can even help him there was a shot The z is dead.

We looked up and saw a boy he ran out of our sights. I just ignored it and saw the girl out of her cage thing and she put a knife to my throat. "LET HER GO!" Alec screeched. He swiftly kicked her ankle. She let go of me and fell holding onto her ankle. I never knew Alec had it in him to do that. I was also surprised that didn't attract any Z's. I bent down to his size. He started to breathe heavily. I caressed his cheek with my thumb. "You Okay?" I asked him. He nodded. I hugged him tight but almost forgot about the girl. "I'm sorry about him he- well you know". I started playing with my fingers, looking down. She looked at me and then gave a scared look at my brother then nodded. I smiled and held out my hand to help her up. She took it.

( Okie so i forgot how it happened sorrreeeeeeeey but let's skip to the part where they are already at the truck about to meet ya know who😉 ook)

We got ready to leave, but before we did the person who helped. I gazed off. I wasn't one who focused on anything. When I felt the truck move a little bit it put me back into reality. I looked and saw the boy. "Hi my name is Heidi" I said I put my hand out their  so he can shake it. He looked at it strangely. I giggled. He shook it and said "10k". I didn't want say anything about his 'name' so I kept quiet. My eyes started to get droopy. I laid my head down on an unknown shoulder and fell asleep.

So I knowww they met Cassandra after they met 10k I believe but should I continue?  Also I'm probably not gonna post a lot and I'm having writers block soo 😂
I'm trying to write a Glenn Rhee x reader so get prepared for that ;) CX but of course writers block ;-;
