Prologue

23 1 9

A shadow cloaked figure walked down the halls of the large home. Trudging along, an intricate dagger in hand, to the owners room was the figure's mission. A bolt of lightning lit up the hall for a brief moment, then thunder pounded through the air, making the windows quake almost in fear.

This is the perfect time to kill them all, the 'intruder' thought, They're all here. This, indeed was a good time. This family was full of heavy sleepers, the only light sleepers were the parents, which were the first two to be killed.

There were a few extra members in the home. There were two more people than usual, which makes the killer's blood boil. The damn house was noisy enough as it is, there was no need for more people. This was a great time to take them all out.

The rain pattered against the glass as the murderer opened the door to the mother and father's room. The mother and the father looked up as the door opened. They gave the killer a warm, loving, yet concerned gaze.

"What do you need, S-" the mother was cut off as the figure leapt forward and slashed at her throat. The dagger was so sharp it cut through her skin like it was warm butter.

The mother's face turned white and blood gushed out of the open wound. She choked on the blood as it poured out of her mouth, and a soft gurgling sound to be heard. She twitched a few times, then fell limp.

"Mary?! Mary!", The father shook her a few times, and realized the heat from her body was fading into a icy chill. The father looked up in shock, then quickly tried to grab the phone. He dialed the number and shakily hoped they would pick up.

"911 what's your emergency?" A woman on the other line asked as she answered the call.

The killer was too quick, as before the father could answer the woman on the other side, they grabbed the him. They then proceeded to shove the dagger deep into the man's right eye, and shove their fingers into his left eye.

The man tried to scream, but had his brain ripped out through his left eye socket. The man fell back onto the bed, his blood mingling with his wife's. Yet, the killer wasn't done with him just yet.

The killer took the dagger out of the man's skull, stabbed it into his stomach and proceeded rip him open, exposing his large and small intestines. They then grabbed the intestines and started to set up their own little party...

*****************************************************************

"-When the killer finished off their work in that room, they walked out of the room and continued on with their mission. They walked into each room, and brutally murdering each member in a different way. The only thing that each room had in common, was the biological party decorations in each and every room.

Eventually the police arrived, as the father had actually managed to dial the number. The operator heard the squelch of a knife entering the father's eye and panicked. They had just got the job and got scared, as they didn't expect the other end to be dying.

The bodies of Mary Diane Busch, Johnathon Davis Busch, George Carl Busch, Justin Dale Busch, Henry Busch, Venessa Amy Reynolds and Aubrey Lin Reynolds were found, each with no intestines inside of their corpses. It was found that all of them had their intestines strung up around the house like streamers, and their hearts used as food on little plates in front of the corpses. Their lungs were cut in half and strung from the walls on the intestines, and their livers were sliced open and used as party hats.

Three bodies, however, were never found. Sunnie Cornelia Busch, Sean Ray Busch and Brandon Davis Busch were never found until a few years after the incident.

It turns out they had escaped that night, but just barely. They had managed to get their own home across the town, and lived on their own since. Poor Sunnie had been traumatized by the event, but she tried to hide it under a mask. She was rude and cold to anybody and everybody, but inside she was just trying to prove to herself that she was alright. Sean had become extremely over protective of his siblings and Brandon tried to be comic relief.

Around the time that they were found again, the cops told them that they should all go to a public school. The twins, Sean and Brandon, were skeptical at first, but then said yes since it would be good to finally know what having friends was like.

Sunnie had been homeschooled those few years, and she was as intelligent as a freshman in high school. The twins hadn't been to school in awhile, so they went back in as juniors, just to be on the safe side-"

The youtube video turned off, as the listener got bored. The listener got up, and walked to the kitchen where their siblings were. They glared at their siblings as they played together obnoxiously. They were looking forward to having the honors classes so they didn't have to be around their annoying family, or any annoying people, at school. This was their chance to live a more normal life. This was a chance to live freely, without annoyances. This was their chance to have an average school year.

The school year, however, did not turn out to be the average school year anyone was expecting.

Here is the prologue of my new book shadows. I'm sorry that it's bad, I wrote the beginning awhile ago and never got around to finishing it until now. I actually would like some constructive criticism, but please don't hate.

Keep in mind that I'm going to attempt to take this book slow, so not all the characters will be included just yet. It also won't be very exciting for the first few chapters. You'll just be getting to know each of the characters and how their lives are.

One last thing, there actually won't be too much protagonist shield, so the protagonists will possibly be captured and tortured in the worst ways possible. They or may not die, I'm not sure if I'm going to kill one or two of them yet.\

One more things is that you can actually try to guess who the murderer is in the comments. I won't tell you who it is, but you can start guessing when I introduce all of the main characters in the first three chapters. They all have aliases and they also have things they were all out doing that night.

Ok, little Author's note is done. See ya!
