Headcanon:1 Percy Jackson

Annabeth groaned as she was woken up by the piercing alarm. She had just installed a new security system that Leo had designed into her home and for the past five nights, the alarm had been set off. Annabeth pulled herself out of bed to turn off the the alarm and noticed that Percy was nowhere in sight. In her state of half-consciousness, Annabeth thought nothing of this and went to turn of the alarm and hopefully figuring out what had been setting it off. When she arrived downstairs, she was greeted with the sight of her 8 year old son stuffing his face with blue cookies at the kitchen table, with the front door hanging wide open. His face turned pale as he stopped mid chew and stared at his confused mother. "Charles... I... What are you doing awake at 1:00 am? And why are you eating those cookies? And why is the door ope..." At that exact point Percy walked through the front door, hands full of blue cookies and pizza, with a big goofy grin on his face. "Alright Charles I got the goods. Now let's get this midnight picnic party starte..." Percy looked up and saw the confused, tired and somewhat annoyed face of his wife. "Um hi honey!" He said startled, trying to hide the food behind his back. "What are you doing awake?" He asked. Annabeth stared at her husband. "You set off Leo's alarm system you big dummy." She said. Percy and Charles, with blue cookie residue around their mouths, stood and stared at Annabeth. Finally she let out a laugh saying, "Alright you two, I hope you brought enough for me." And that's how the tradition of the monthly midnight picnic party began.
