"Oh," she realized and stopped bouncing, "You're a unicorn!" His ears flattened to his head at these words.

A unicorn? he thought.

"Dib the unicorn-cob," Zim sniggered, "That sounds fitting!" Dib felt himself grow hot, and he was about to tackle his enemy until Pinkie Pie shoved herself between them and happily said, "C'mon! I'll take you to see the others!" She pranced forth and with no other choice Zim and Dib were forced to follow her.

Next thing they knew, they were in a little town with dirt paths and small houses. Colorful ponies were everywhere, waving to one another, running errands, doing things almost like humans, but somewhat friendlier. At least they weren't actually those filthy human stink-beasts. Zim sneered and shuddered at the thought of them. Suddenly, Pinkie gasped.

"We've been friends for over ten minutes and we still don't know each other well!" she exclaimed. Dib looked at her dismayed blue eyes and calmly said, "Oh, sorry. My name is Dib. I'm a paranormal investigator and I work with the Swollen Eyeball committee," he leaned in close as to whisper in her ear, "Don't tell anyone, though." Pinkie did an odd gesture, crossing her heart, flailing her arms, then putting one hoof on her eye. Dib supposed she had promised not to and went on, "And this is-"

"I AM ZIM!" Zim had interrupted so loudly that a few ponies stopped and looked his way. He glanced around self-consciously at the small crowd watching him. He coughed.

"Eh, I'm normal!" he shouted to the crowd and with a dumb smile he grabbed and hugged Pinkie to reassure them. They stared at him a few seconds more then continued their business. Sighing in relief, Zim let go of the smiling pink pony. Dib was giving him the usual hateful glance but Zim stood sneering at him. They followed Pinkie Pie to the door of a treehouse. She knocked, and turned to the newcomers.

"You're going to love Twilight!" Pinkie said, "She's a bit of a bookworm, but she's a really great friend!" Soon enough, the door opened and out came a lavender pony. She had shiny, straight, dark purple hair with a few pink strands. But something was different about this pony; she had wings as well as a horn. All of the other ponies they had seen so far either had one or the other, but not both.

"Oh hi, Pinkie!" she greeted cheerfully. Pinkie bounced up and down and said, "Hi!"

"I take it you need another cook book?" Twilight asked.

"No thanks! The last one you gave me is fine for now," she replied, "I still have tons of recipes to try! But I did come here to show you our newest friends! This is Zim and Dib," she gestured to the two newcomers

Twilight glanced at Dib and Zim standing next to Pinkie. "Oh," she said, "You both are welcome to come inside." They both followed Pinkie as she bounced through the doorway. Shelves lined the walls, each shelf holding dozens of books of all kinds. In the middle of the large room was a small, round table with a golden horse centerpiece. A few books lay sprawled out on the ground. Dib's eyes grew wide as they started to glow a light purple and they were lifted into the air.

"Sorry about the mess," Twilight said embarrassed. Her horn glowed just like the books as they were levitated into empty slots on the shelves. Dib and Zim stared at Twilight curiously. The purple pony looked at them, puzzled.

"What?" she asked.

"How did you do that?" Dib questioned. Twilight stared at him like he was out of his mind, "Uh, what are you talking about?"

"They said that they're not from around here so he probably doesn't know much about unicorns... Or anypony for that matter," Pinkie Pie chimed in.

"Oh," Twilight realized, "Well, I used magic to move the books." she explained, "You're able to use magic, too." Her horn started to glow again as she laid a quill in front of Dib's hooves. He looked from the quill to Twilight questioningly.

"Just try to lift this quill off the ground for starters," she told him.

"Erm... Ok,"

Zim watched intriguingly as the Dib-beast got into a low crouch. He aimed his horn at the quill and tensed into an overly-focused state. A faint orange glow formed at the tip of his horn. As the glowing started to spread to the base of his horn, he gritted his teeth and began to sweat. The feather finally started to glow. Smiles broke out on both Twilight and Pinkie's faces, but quickly faded when the quill stopped gleaming, along with Dib's horn. The blue unicorn flopped onto the floor, sweating and panting.

A few seconds later Zim burst out laughing. "Bahahahaha! You're so pathetic! You can't even lift a feather pen!" he chortled. Dib pushed his glasses back onto his snout and got up, glaring hatefully at his enemy.

"Oh yeah? Well I'd like to see you try!" he shouted over his laughter. Zim stopped laughing and reflected his stare.

"Oh that's right, you don't even have a horn!" Dib bopped him on the forehead with his hoof. Zim favoured where he had hit him and spat, "Don't touch me, Dib-smelly!"

"Space boy!" Dib got up in his face.

"Human stink-beast!"

"Alien!"

"Ugly pig thi-"

"Quit it, you two!" Twilight had grabbed them both by the tails with her magic and dangled them. "There's no reason for this name-calling and bickering!" Dib stared at the purple pony, surprised, while Zim was flailing all four of his hooves, demanding to be put down.

"Geez... What's going on down here?" a small, slightly-cranky voice spoke. Zim stopped squirming and watched as a short, scaly creature came down the stairs rubbing his eyes tiredly. Twilight saw the creature and let both enemy's flop down onto the wooden flooring.

"Oh, hey, Spike," she said, back in a happy mood. Dib rubbed his head and gazed curiously at Spike. He had stopped at the base of the stairs and was looking from Zim to Dib.

"Uh, who are they?" Spike asked Twilight.

"This is Zim and Dib. Pinkie was just introducing them to me." she explained to him.

"Oh, well could you keep it down a little? I was trying to sleep," Spike complained. Twilight just gave him a soft smile and replied, "Yes, sorry. You need your rest anyway," Without a sound Spike turned around and walked back up the stairs. After watching him go, Twilight turned to the three ponies behind her.

"How about we go see Rainbow Dash?" she asked them.

"Okie dokie lokie!" Pinkie chanted as she bounced out the door, followed by Twilight. Once again, Dib and Zim followed unwillingly, but not before scowling at eachother.

It didn't take too long of a walk until a blur of colors whizzed past Dib, making him spin around dizzily. Zim began to let out a scornful giggle but was cut off short when the colors shot past him.

"Hey!" he shouted. His eye finally caught the figure spinning around the sky. A blue pegasus bucked at the clouds, instantly demolishing them into little puffs. Zim watched her, more astonished than angry now. Her speed was remarkably stunning as she zipped across the sky, breaking every cloud in sight. A few seconds later, the whole sky was clear, and the pegasus was down on the ground in front of the four ponies. Dib stood there, gaping at the rainbow pegasus. Pinkie Pie sprang up in down in excitement.

"That was amazing, Dashie!" she shouted. The pegasus merely flicked her tail and said, "Meh, I was a second or two off my record," She noticed Dib and Zim and stared at them.

"Um, who are these two?" she asked without taking her eyes off the two newcomers, "And why is the blue one's head so big?"

"My head's not big!" Dib retorted angrily.

"Oh, this is Zim and Dib-" Twilight began, but was cut off by a high pitched scream.

"That sounded like Rarity!" Rainbow Dash said, "Come on!" She gestured and took off, Zim and Dib once again being dragged along.
