Zim opened his eyes, his head still spinning. His bones felt like glass when he struggled to stand up and he almost fell right back down. As he started to become aware of his surroundings, he remembered what had happened when he was last conscious. He gasped.
"Gah! Where am I?" he scanned the area around him. He was in a big, green meadow with bright, colorful flowers and trees. Birds chirped and flew gracefully through the air overhead. Everything seemed completely peaceful and happy; much different than the dimension he had programmed. Now that he thought about it, he himself felt a little odd. Slowly, he looked to where his hands should have been, but he barely managed to hold in a shriek of horror when he saw black, shiny hooves instead.
"No! I've become the moose!" screamed Zim. He spun in circles, trying to get a better glimpse of himself, but he wasn't use to his new body and he stumbled and fell face down into the dirt. Scrunching his new muzzle, he lifted his head up and spat out a mouthful of grass and soil. When he scanned around a little more he noticed a blue figure moan and shift around. It was a sort of creature that looked a little like an Earth horse, but was an unnatural shade of blue. He had the same black, scythe-like hair as the Dib-beast for a mane and two long scythes for a tail. What Zim found the most odd was that he had some sort of horn on his forehead.
The creature shook his head and pushed his glasses back onto his snout.
"What the-" he eyed the new world around him in confusion. Zim's ear flicked in annoyance by his horrible familiar voice.
"Dib!" Zim shouted to get his enemies attention. Dib's massive head swung towards him, his expression first angry, but then suddenly changed to silly.
"Bahaha!" he broke out into a loud hysterical laughing fit. Dib fell onto the ground, bucking his hind hooves into the air. Tears started to trickle down his face he was laughing so hard. Zim frowned down at him hatefully. Before Zim could pummel his foe, a cheery voice came from behind the both of them.
"What's so funny?"
Zim spun around to face the voice. Dib had stopped laughing and was sitting straight up. A pink pony with a very poofy tail and mane was staring and smiling at them with friendly, curious eyes.
"Who are you?" Zim demanded.
"I'm Pinkie Pie, friend-maker extrodinare! Nice to meetch'ya!" She grabbed both of their hooves and started wildly shaking them, leaving them both dazed and dizzy. Then she studied them a little more, her gaze becoming harder.
"That's funny," Pinkie observed, "I don't recognize either of you. And I know everypony in Ponyville!"
Ponyville? Is that what this place is? Zim thought. Dib cleared his throat and spoke, trying hard not to laugh, "We're not from around here, especially him," he gestured at Zim, unable to hold in a tiny snort. The Irken-pony kicked him in he behind and he let out a small, sharp cry.
"What is this? What are we?" Zim asked in a rather harsh tone. Pinkie stared at them in surprise.
"Silly! You're ponies, just like me!" she bounced up and down happily. Dib, who still had no idea he had changed, screamed in horror. His jaw dropped as he saw hooves instead of hands and feet. When he felt his forehead for his hair, he came across his horn and he let out a half gasping half choking noise.
"What have I become?" he had jumped up into the pink pony's face and put his hooves on her cheeks. Pinkie suddenly bursted with energy and hopped about from place to place. "Ooh! Ooh! Is this a guessing game?" she asked, "Ok, ok... Um... A statue! Er, invisible! How about a confused pony?" Dib shook his head. "No! What sort of creature am I?" He asked in a vexed tone.
