This book is solely going to be filled with problems I feel all otaku will have/have had. Including me. You can't judge. These are real problems we have to deal with.
~~~~~
When you're sitting there fangirling/boying, screaming internally, and making seizure~like movements and someone walks in the room.
When your mom/dad asks: " What kind of anime/manga are you watching/reading?
Not knowing if you should watch the anime or read the manga first.
That awkward moment when... You're halfway through a good manga, and you realize you've read it before.
"Why can't school be fun like in anime?"
When you're physically unable to draw anything but anime. (Been there)
You're in love with a fictional, animated character.
When English songs start to sound unfamiliar.
"I cry over anime character's problems more than I cry over my own."
Trying to figure out what OTP, Canon, Moe, Shouta, Seme, Uke, and every other word means.
"The anime I watched is over, what do I watch next?!"
"Itadakima~" "For the love of... Stop speaking another language at the dinner table." "Gomenasai..."
"Too much anime, not enough time."
"Too much anime not enough hard disk space." "Too much anime not enough connection speed."
True story.
The reaction when someone mentions anime, then people look at you weird.
When you catch yourself humming/singing openings and endings of your favorite anime.
Normal people: "I want to go to Paris."
Otaku: "I want to go to Japan."
Me: oh a new character?
Me: he's so funny!
Me: he's so cute! Omg!
Me: he's adorable!
Me: he is so perfect.
Me: I just can't
Me: ASDFGHJKL
Me: I just love him so much.
Me: he's my soul ma~
Me: and he's dead...
Finding an anime store and fangirling/boying like crazy.
When you watch so much anime you can actually notice mistakes in translation.
Not being able to have lunch on the roof.
Waiting for sword art online to come out in real life... (Still waiting)
When Senpai doesn't notice you.
When you're watching an anime, and you get to a scene that makes you smile. Then someone walks in the room and you're staring at the screen with a creepy otaku smile.
When you're afraid to tell someone you like anime because you're scared they might think you're weird.
That feeling when you run out of anime to watch.
When you accidentally spoke Japanese and your friends go "what?"
*watching awkward scene in anime* Your mom walks in "What are you watching?" And she tries to look at the screen.
