I woke up at 6:30 am and realized I only had 30 minutes to get ready. I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to tell my dad bye before he went to work for a week. After I said goodbye I heard my mom calling me from upstairs.
"Madison! Hurry and get ready so you're not late!" Said my mom. I ran upstairs and threw on one of my outfits and brushed my hair and ran downstairs. I ran outside to get in the car with my mom but I soon noticed she wasn't in the car, she was at our new neighbors house across the street. I walked over there to tell my mom that we have to hurry so we aren't late.
Mom: wait Madie come meet our new neighbors!
Madie: hi I'm Madie, nice to meet you, gotta go now!
I started to walk away when our new neighbor started talking to me.
Neighbor: hey what grade are you in?
Madie: 3rd
Neighbor: I have twin sons in your grade, you'll have to look for them at school!
Madie: ok I will:))
We got in the car and drove away. I soon arrived at school. My first day of 3rd grade, I couldn't wait! I started to walk towards the front doors when I noted some boys in a corner getting beat up and yelled at. There were two boys on the ground with blood all over there faces because some other had beaten them up. I walked over and pushed one of the boys away and yelled stop! The boy came back to me and pushed me very harshly to the ground and walked away leaving me and the two boys laying there. I got up and looked at them and they were twins! I remembered my neighbor told me she has twins.
Madie: guys I'm sorry. That boy is a mean bully! Let's go to the principals office and report him.
The twins and I stood up, they looked at me kind of funny and then followed me to the office. We reported the kid and he got suspended.
Madie: so who's your teacher?
The twins replied quietly with a soft voice: mrs. Taylor
Madie: so do I! Let's get to class guys!
After the first day I kept on talking to the boys every day and they were always very shy. I started going to there house to play and they started talking to me a little bit. About half way into the year my dad came home very happy and told us that he had very exciting news.
Dad: I got a job in California!!!
Mom: that's great!
I didn't know that meant that we'd be moving so I just carried on with my day. A month later a big truck pulled up to our house and my mom and dad started to put our stuff in boxes and load them Into the truck.
Dad: ready to go see our new house
Madie: I don't want a new house!😭
My dad carried me out to the car and we drove for the longest time and then we arrived at our new house.
I know the Dolan twins weren't really introduced in this story but stay tuned to read about them later on!🖤
