alone

I wake up to an unsettling silance i can normaly hear a dog barking or people laghing "mabey its just early" i said as i pick up my phone to cheak the time "8.29 why is no one awake yet" as i walk down stairs all i can hear is my foot steps nothing else no cars "whats happening" i look out the window its covered in ash as i open the window i see srubble of the buildings that surrounded me once i run to see where my parents were there no where i think for a second "w-what if they Dissaperd shut up! elsie thats noncence where would they be though" as i get dressed  i take my pocket knife just in case  somthing happens i take a look all i can see is grey the only colorfull thing is a flower as i got close it was only a picture that disintergrated in my hand a tear falls as i reallise that im alone "hello is anyone there" silance  the deathening silance as i move some srubble i find a letter adressed to me
