She was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. She had an amazing personality, and a glowing smile. I was lucky to call her mine.

We were finishing our date, and as we finished crossing the road to her apartment, I bent down on one knee, and proposed.

"Will you marry me?" I asked, my heart beating faster than ever before.

She was so excited that she jumped and ran into the street screaming, "Yes!"

I smiled at her antics, but my eyes grew wide when a semi-truck rounded the corner.

I smelt burnt rubber, as he tried to initiate his brakes. I screamed to her.

"No!"

I heard the impact, and I ran to her.

She was smiling, and I grabbed onto her hand.

"Hold on to me, baby, it's okay," I said, trying to reassure myself more than her.

She exhaled, and never inhaled.

I'm sorry for this section being really short, I wrote this last year and I thought it would be a fun one to type up and include in here.
