Ishita was married to ashok singhania.... Happily married couple.... Ashok met her in a business party. Ishita's appa Mr iyer was a successful businessman. He achieved big milestone in a very less time because of his brilliant ideas. Once he thrown a party to celebrate his success and ishita's success too. Ishita had completed her studies and decided to join a NGO....her father never forced her for anything so whatever she decided he agreed happily. He earned so much money and respect too, he wanted to help others but rather than charity he couldn't do anything else, so when Ishita and mihika both sisters decided to do their own work he helped them happily.
In that party big businessmen were present, raman and ashok were also invited. Though raman was never interested in any girl he just attended the party and was about to leave. But Mr iyer stopped him.
Appa-hello raman beta, you are leaving too early....come i will make you meet my family.
Raman-i would love to Mr iyer but i have to leave my mother must be waiting for me on dinner. I'm sorry I'm getting late.
Appa-hello didn't have dinner here..?
Raman-actually i promised a date with my mother she is already in hotel i have to leave.
Appa-ok..but can I talk just two minutes...?
Raman-yaa sure...but please only 2 minutes...
Said raman pleading. Appa laughed at teasingly and patted his shoulder.
Appa-ok ok just 2 minutes. I will just come on point. Is there any girl in your life..? I mean what's your plan about marraige....?
Raman-not now sir...because i have lost my father just sometimes back. My sister's career her marraige everything is on me so no plans for now and no girl too.
Said raman winking on the last line... And leaves take adiue., without meeting Ishita and her family.
Ashok heard their talk and looks at Ishita, he smirks.
Ashok-so Mr iyer wants a groom for his daughter...?? Not bad with a beautiful bride i will get her property too.
(Note-he was not aware of Ishita's seperate working plans)
Slowly slowly ashok started coming closure to Ishita, he helped her in many ways, like helping in any NGO work or any good work through which he can win her heart. He didn't knew that this NGO work is her permanent career. Mr iyer tried many times to talk raman for the alliance but raman always said no for marraige.
One day ashok proposed Mr iyer for the alliance. Appa asked for sometime. Though he still liked raman but he never showed interest in meeting ishita even so he decided to talk Ishita.
Ishita came back from NGO office, ashok came to drop her. Appa saw them talking happily with each other and smiled ashok was not his choice but he couldn't see any bad side of him too. After dinner appa goes in ishita's room.
Knock-knock....
Ishita-appa...you didn't sleep yet...?
Appa-you are awake too...
Ishita-i was about to appa just completing some work. But....you look worried...is something bothering you...??
Appa sat and made her sit too.
Appa-kanna after your mother's death...my appa brought many alliance for me....but i never agreed for any...you know why...?
Ishita looks on teary.
Appa-because i loved your mother so much and another reason was whoever agrees for marriage they all agreed because of my money not for love. And i didn't wanted to bring any step mother for you.
Ishita-i know appa i and mihika never felt mother's emptiness.... Because you loved us in both way appa. But.... Why are you talking like this.
Appa-its only saying kanna....that i fulfilled both roles perfectly but the truth is a mother can take everyone's place but no one can take mother's place in one's life.
Ishita-appa....
Ishita hugs him and both cries.
Appa-today I'm going to ask you a very important question. Your life's important question. Please answer honestly.
Ishita-what is it appa..??
Appa-your marraige Kanna....
Ishita parts and looks at him.
Appa-its your marraige age Kanna..you have settled in your life made your carrier too and.....don't know how much I'm gonna live...
Ishita-appa please don't talk rubbish.
Appa-its not rubbish it's natural....the one who has born has to die one day. And after your marraige we have to do mihika's marriage too.
Ishita-appa i never denied anything....whatever you said i did. This time also whichever boy you will say i will marry. But you just be happy.
Appa-dont you love anyone...??
Ishita-i love appa but i can't marry him.
Appa-why not...? Just tell me i will make you marry him only. Who is he..?
Ishita-but appa how can i marry you...?
Appa looks on. Ishu smiles and hugs him.
Ishita-appa i never had time to fall in love with anyone. I'm elder of this house I have responsibility of my house and my little sister. I was always busy helping just you. So i fell in love with my appa. But i can't marry him. So whoever my appa will select i will marry him.
Listening Ishita appa remembered raman's words. Same thing he also said. Appa smiled remembering that moment.
Appa(st)-why do i feel a connection between you both....but may be destiny wants something else.
Ishita saw him lost and shook to bring him back.
Ishita-where are you lost appa...? Tell have you seen anyone for me...?
Appa-hmmm..!! Your new friend ashok....
Ishita-ashok singhania...??
Appa-hmmm...!! Why...? Is anything wrong...?
Ishita-no....i mean....he is good in nature always helps me but.....i wanted to see you in my future husband.
Appa-you think and tell i will wait. Actually he just asked your hand from me yesterday but I didn't answered him yet....
Ishita-no appa i don't need any time you are my appa you will never think bad for me....I'm ready....

Mihika wiped her tears smiling.
Mihika-i heard their whole conversation hiding sir. Our mother died due to complications when i was born. From then appa raised us alone. He never made us feel that we don't have mother. But he was right a mother is a mother no one can take her place ever.....never.
Raman romi mihir too wiped their tears.
Raman-so how did you came to know about my and Mr iyer conversation.
Mihika-next day appa told me. When i asked him the reason behind choosing that ashok. Appa told me that you are not interested in marrying only, so he can't force you. And he was becoming old day by day, he promised Amma that he will settle us well before dying. And that time we didn't see any fault in that man too. He looked so decent and gentleman.
Romi-you all didn't enquired about him...?
Mihika-we did but all we got was positive response.
Mihir-but what he did actually...?
Mihika-in one month akka got married with all rituals. After her marriage i joined your office and after being with you working with you i came to know why appa choose you for akka raman sir.
Raman looks at mihika with questioning eyes.
Raman-i didn't get you.
Mihika-you are so like my akka sir. Like murugan has made you both in one factory. Your love for your family and others too. Helping all needy and being friendly with all your employees....otherwise which boss have lunch in donwmarket stall with his workers just to check they are living happily under you or not...? My akka is same....you both are just like each other....like made for each....

Mihika stopped in mid realising what she was about to say.....romi and mihir looks at raman. He was looking outside his cabin. They turned and saw Ishita standing and talking with someone about work. Raman was just admiring her. His cabin was of glasses... Inside people can see out but from outside it was like mirror.
Mihika-I'm sorry....i....my tounge just slipped.
Raman-what happened after marraige....?
Asked raman looking at Ishita,going near the door and seeing her closely. Mihika turned and saw raman and Ishita facing each other but mirror was in between. Ishita was looking in mirror. She saw some people laughing at her silently. She moves her fingers on her face and head slowly sadly. Raman too moves his fingers on mirror as if moving on her face just like her.
Ishita-they are laughing, am i that ugly...??
As if raman heard her. He noddes his head in no.
Raman(st)-you are beautifully....beautiful Ishita, from..... both......inside & outside too. Don't underestimate yourself.
Otherside as if Ishita heard him she smiled,checked herself again and goes from their confidently. Raman smiles too seeing her smiling.
Mihir mihika and romi looks on.
Raman turns and looks at mihika.
Raman-what happened after marraige..??
Mihika-everything changed.
