As the police lights are seen through my bedroom window I get up in a hurry to see what is going on. Outside there are four police cruisers and an ambulance or two.  As I try to search for the cause of all this chaos I see many men walking towards my house. I can see their police uniforms with the fain light from the street lights. As I hear them knock on the door I wonder why the police would be here in the early hours of the morning and especially why they are at my home.

Two weeks later

As I think back to the night two weeks prior, to when my life turned completely upside down, all I see it for, is the night when I lost my trust in everyone, and the night I lost my family. Although losing them in death would have been hard, it would have been a hell of a lot easier than this. Since that night I have been completely alone. I don't have anyone to talk to or anyone who cares about me or my well-being, everyone has made up their mind about me because they all assume that I will end up just like my parents. killers.

That night I hear the men yell Mr. and Mrs. Anderson open up it's the police, and all hell breaks loose before I know it mom and dad are trying to flee without a care in the world that they have a confused and scared daughter trying to get answers from them and then right before they could escape the police break down our door. When I finally realize that my parents were going to try to run from the police all I could do was stare and watch as both my parents get handcuffed and put in the back of two separate police cruisers. By the time I come to and actually realize what just happened my parents and the police cruisers they were in had left already along with the ambulances except one and now there was a woman who was coming up to me. when she finally got to me the first thing she said is "are you okay did they hurt you?" with this question all I could do was look at this woman completely confused. why would she ask if my parents had hurt me? why would she think that when I am standing right next to her completely fine, and it was then I realized that I was crying. all I could do to respond to the woman who I later found out was named detective Craver, was to shake my head no. And, with that, she knew that what had just happened just ruined a 17-year-old girl's life.
