Death, darkness, pain tears
Monsters roaming eating off your fears
Insecurity, trust issues, hate
Only one thing can put you on this road : fate
There's only two options
Be eaten alive or take pain for adoption
It's either live or die
Drown or fly high
But in pain, you'll chose the easier way out and not fight
You feel empty and too weak to use all your might
But then you see the light on top of the water
So you start to swim up even when u falter
You decide not to give up so soon
Words of inspiration : aim for the moon
Almost at the top for a breath of fresh air
Oh dear I was almost there
Should I get up or stay on the ground
Drown on the ocean floor no air can be found
Beginning to close my eyes ready to give up
Pain taking over, overflowing my cup
Free at last no more pain for me
But no happiness was there as I wanted it to be
Should I give up or should I die
Drown or fly high
Head for the light
Fight with all your might
Happiness i seek but it's not here
If not in the ocean bottom then it must be in the air
Don't let the monsters feed on your fear
Princess hold your tears happiness is near
I have reached the surface
My old life I will replace
Like an eagle I will reach great height
Just because I decided to fight
I will hold my head up and smile
Everything will be okay in a while
Head up don't let your crown fall
Monsters locked out behind a wall
Hell no I'm not gonna drown
Not a tear nor a glimpse of a frown
I now can say fate made me stronger
Can't hold me down any longer
I will fly high n soar in the sky
Drowning ain't a choice, I won't die
