I am not the most popular person, I will be the first to admit that. But it's not worth punishment to be different...right? Just because I am not heterosexual, that does not make me gay. Just because I do not listen to the music everyone else does, that does not make me a target. Just because I dress differently, that does not make me poor. It makes me who I am, and it makes me show everybody else what I believe. I am not average, that is not my aim, and it is what makes me different. If you won't accept that I am different, then do not waste your time telling me my flaws. If you waste your own time telling people their flaws, you have your own flaws that you are scared to admit to. If you do not admit to those flaws, and tear people up about their own, then you are not human. You are a creature all on your own. If you are going to tell me everything that is wrong with me, take a good long look in the mirror. Pick out every single one of your flaws, and make fun of yourself for them. See? It's not fun, is it? So before telling other people off, ask yourself if it is worth it. If it is worth ruining someone's mood, someone's day, someone's week. You do not know what they have been through, what their life was like before you walked into it. You do not know the struggles, the pain, or the things they live through and see every day. Nobody is perfect, and making somebody feel as if they are nowhere close makes you even farther than they are. So please, if you plan on ruining somebody's day just for the sake of your own enjoyment, walk away and keep your mouth shut, or say something nice for once.
