Soul Mates - David and Liza

Liza POV:

Exactly 920 days since I started dating David Dobrik and I still get chills when he comes over. I hear the faint ding dong of my doorbell and leap up to the door.

I open it to see his cute face staring down at me. He is blushing slightly and gives me a once over, which causes me to blush as well.

"Hi," I say casually despite the fact my heart is racing.

"Sup babe!" He responds.

We walk into my apartment and start packing for VidCon coming up.

"So are you excited to be a featured creator this year?" I ask him with a smile.

"You can't even imagine. Well, actually, I suppose you can Miss 9.7 million subscribers and TV star," He says with a smirk. I playfully punch his side. We quickly finish packing and climb into bed. He curls his arms around me. I love how he can fit them all the way around me. He nuzzles his face into my hair and whispers sweet nothings into my ear until I fall asleep.

"WAKE UP!" I hear and wake up with a jolt, slamming head first into what felt like a wall. 

"Owwwww," I said as a rubbed my nose and open my eyes to see David sitting their laughing.

"Babe, get up we have to go to VidCon in 2 hours!" He says while shaking me a little.

"Oh my god! In only two hours! I have to get coffee, clothes, hair... Oh dear lord I forgot about makeup!" I said suddenly wide awake.

"Calm down Liza. You have 2 whole hours!" He said while leisurely sitting on my bed.

"ARE YOU KIDDING?! Do you even know how much time goes into painting my eyebrows on?" I said dramatically. I rushed around the room grabbing everything and headed to the bathroom for makeup. 1 minute and 45 mins later I walk out to see David just sitting there still in pajamas, just checking his phone. 

"DAVID! We only have 15 mins go get changed!" I say pushing him off my bed. He took one look at me and the playful smile reserved just for me was back.

"I can think of a better way of spending those 15 mins Liza" He said suggestively. He slipped his hands around my neck and pulled me in for a kiss. Neither of us backed away, so we just lay there making out like we were back in high school again. His breath tasted so good. Like peppermint. The simple movements of him running his hands through my hair caused tingles to run down my back. 

Finally pulling away I said "David, I love you, but if we don't stop now we may just continue doing this forever and we need to go to VidCon."

"Finnnneee!" He said with a groan and rolled out of bed. Of course it took him 3 mins to get ready compared to my 90 mins. We jumped in the Tesla and headed off. We couldn't even get out of the car before fans swarmed us. I love them all so much, but they can really be too vicious. One thing that almost no one knows about me is that I am claustrophobic, but thankfully I had told David that a while ago. He took one look at me from over the heads of fans and knew that I would have a meltdown if he didn't get me out. 

He made his way through the sea of fans and wrapped his arms around my waist. We just stood there, not moving as he whispered,

"Everything is fine Liza. I've got you. Just breathe. You'll be okay." 

The fans got closer and started grabbing at me and I couldn't do it. The tears in my eyes overflowed as I just sank my head into David's chest. Two mins later, security found us and 8 of them held off the crowd as we made it to sign in. We got our featured creators passes and then went to our hotel room.

"Hey are you going to be okay tomorrow liza? Today seemed a little hard for you." David said with a concerned expression.

"I'll be fine." I said but it was clear to both of us that I was lying.

"Okay" He said.

DAVID POV:

I looked over at her. She still had tear stains under her eyes. There was no way she would make it through tomorrow so I decided to do something about it. 

"I am going to just go get some water okay Liza?" I said trying to sound like I was telling the truth.

I walked to the first floor and found a security guard.

"Hey do you know who is in charge of security for creators?" I asked.

The guard pointed to a woman in a red blazer in black pants. 

"Hi! I am David Dobrik and I was just wondering if you could put extra security on my girlfriend Liza Koshy tomorrow because she is claustrophobic and we were mobbed today and she didn't take it so well." I asked.

"Of course, we know who she is and she already has six but we can put 8 on her if you'd feel more comfortable?" She said kindly.

"Yes please. Thank you." I said relieved. I headed back up to the room.

"Long water break?" She said suspiciously.

"Yes" I responded, not giving away anything.

LIZA POV:

I woke up early and went through a pretty normal day of interviews, meet and greets, and videos and then headed back to meet up with David for lunch.  I had an awesome security team who had made me feel really comfortable. I told them I needed to go to the bathroom really quick and they waited out front. I went and began washing my hands, but when I looked up to the mirror I saw a black figure standing behind me. A hand closed around my mouth as I tried to scream out for help, but my security detail was too far away. More figures came in to help drag me out and I passed out.
