One can hammer a nail but together we can build a house
One can lay a stone but together we can build a wall
One can read the Bible but together we can understand and teach the Bible
One can have an idea but together we can turn that idea into reality.
18 But God made our bodies with many parts, and he has put each part just where he wants it. 19 What a strange thing a body would be if it had only one part! 20 Yes, there are many parts, but only one body. 21 The eye can never say to the hand, "I don't need you." The head can't say to the feet, "I don't need you." 22 In fact, some of the parts that seem weakest and least important are really the most necessary. 1 Corinthians 12:17-22 (NLT)
As it said in the passage no part is insignificant. God created everything with a purpose. Even the smallest bone in your body has a purpose and if there is a problem it affects the whole body. If we lose part of the body the rest can compensate but it's not quite the same. God put people together like a body. Each member has their own skills they bring to the body, and their own piece to the puzzle. Remove one piece of that puzzle and you can still see the picture but it's not quite the same.
13 "You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose the easy way. 14 But the gateway to life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it.Matthew 7:13-14 (NLT)
We as Christians are told that to follow God we must go through narrow gate. He also said it would not always be easy. A small stone can make one stumble but there is always someone there to help you up. When God puts a boulder in ones way they cannot move it but together we can move it thus overcoming that obstacle. God puts these obstacles in our way to make us stronger to learn to rely on others to get the job done.
God brings together a group of people to do his purpose. None of us are insignificant and no one is a hindrance. Is a nail a hindrance to a wall? Does the house need all four walls? Together we can build God's house and it is together that help make our Christian family what it is today.
Together we pray
Together we praise
Together we lead the kids of to a better life in Christ.
