"Your name is Craig, right?" She asks, looking over in my direction.
"Uhm, no. It's Nathan-"
"Oh gosh! I'm so sorry. I'm new here and I'm trying to meet new people-"
"It's fine. Don't worry about it."
"My name is Leah, by the way. Nice to meet you. I guess this is an interesting story for how we can say we became friends." She smiles softly, holding out her hand to shake mine.
"It is." I respond, giving her a small smile back.
That was the best and worst day of my life.
