Hi everyone! So I figured I'd give you a warning of sorts before anyone starts reading and before I start writing? I'm currently on my summer break from school, *waves hands* full-time student here :) Anyways, I've really enjoyed wattpad for some time now and figured that it might be fun to write something as well. I don't know that I'll be the best writer ever but I do hope this might strengthen my writing skills. Feel free to give input and advice, I'll definitely need it.

I'm not sure where I want to take this? I'm thinking like a teen romance thing, I do need to figure out if I want to go into the fictional area or not. I'd be happy to hear from you along the way, thank you for taking the time to read this!

Hearing my phone go off with violent beeps I groan, reaching over I quickly turn off the alarm. Despite the fact that I've been going to school ever since forever I honestly don't know that I'll ever adjust to the horrible sound of my alarm in the morning.

Pushing the covers off of me I sit up and stretch my arms out above me while I yawn and clear my mind for the day ahead of me. Grabbing my hairbrush I pull it through the ends of my light brown hair and tie it in a high ponytail.

Standing up I shuffle over to my closet and decide on a blue sundress with the tan watch I always wear and my ever so comfortable Birkenstocks. Walking to my bathroom I splash some water on my face and apply some mascara, otherwise known as the entirety of my makeup routine.

Grabbing my backpack and my phone I head downstairs and prepare breakfast as I check my phone. Once I've finished scrambling eggs I pull my toast out of the oven and dive into the mess that is the group chat with my closest friends.

Apparently the school's sweethearts Amy and Joshua split up last night, so of course the stories surrounding their end are as far-fetched and intriguing as any one of the rumors constantly cycling through our school.

---

"I heard that Amy was actually only dating Josh so she could get to his cousin Rob," my friend Lilly reports in a mocking, girly voice.

"Oh? Well I heard that Amy and Josh's parents forced them to be together so it'd be less suspicious when Amy's dad and Josh's mom hung out," my other friend Jaden replied in a teasing tone.

Laughing at the theories that have been spread I join in, "Yeah sure, we all know that Josh finally realized the truth about Amy..."

The girls turn and look at me with interest in what I have to say, curious expressions evident on their faces.

"Ladies, ladies... Hasn't it always been clear that Amy's actually with everyone's favorite bio teacher, Mr. Gordon? Josh is just for appearances," I throw out.

Continuing to battle for the most ridiculous story the three of us leave Starbucks and drive over to East High School, blasting Sheeran's "Shape of You" and singing along the entire way.

Once we've made it to our lockers we chat about our plans for the weekend when the bell rings for first period. Dramatically wishing them good-bye I don't notice as I turn and run into something.

"Watch it," a rough voice barks. Looking up, my smile drops as I realize who it is.

"Charity," he smirks.
