@Frickin-Zazz's three-week-year-old puppy has unfortunately died from a virus called canine parvovirus*. They are constantly reminded of the puppy and mourn each time. What makes matters worse, is that their parents are acting as if the incident never happened. To them, the puppy was their world. Not wanting to go through the pain again, they don't want to replace the puppy.

* The canine parvovirus infection is a contagious virus that affects dogs. It manifests itself in two forms. The more common form is intestinal, which is characterised by vomiting, diarrhoea, weight loss, and lack of appetite. The less common form is cardiac, which attacks the heart muscles of very young puppies, often leading to death. The majority of cases are seen in puppies that are between six weeks and six months old.
