"Are you up Jacob?" My mom yells. "Yea!" I call back. Time to get ready for jail, oops! I meant school. I go to my closet and pick out my outfit for the day. I change and gather my things. I walk downstairs and grab an apple. "Bye Mom!" I yell to her before walking out the door. I walk to my bus stop and wait. The bus finally pulls up. I get on the loud and stinky bus. I look around for a seat until I spot an seat next to a girl. I walk to the back of the bus and sit next to her. She was looking towards the window. She had long light brown hair and she was super skinny. I could hear quiet sobs coming from her. Maybe I should say something. "Hello, I'm Jacob." I say softly. She jumps a little when I say it. She slowly turns towards me but cautiously. She still has her head down with her hair in her face so I can't see it. "Hi." She mutters softly and quietly for only me to hear. I could hear the sadness and hurt in her quiet voice. What happened? I'm going to ask her what her name is. "Hey, what's your na-" I was cut off by the bus pulling up to the school. Everybody get off. I get up and she follows behind. I get off the bus and turn around to re-attempt to ask her name again but when I turned around she was gone. I look over to see her skinny body running away with her hair blowing back. I never got her name. Well, for now, she's just quiet girl.
