I am Azura Gallo. I am a guardian spirit. The only thing wrong is, I don't have someone to protect. I am the only one in my area without someone and it's horrible. You may think, 'hey that's amazing! You don't have to deal with a bratty human from birth to adulthood!' I have to deal with insults from other guardians, my former friends, even my parents. It's rare when my parents get mad at me for it though. How I have to deal with it? Easy. I have to be Invisible.

"Azura! Azura wake up!" I woke up to my mom shouting my name. It's monday. Like every month on the first monday, guardians in training go to the temple to find out who they guard.  I've been in training for years and I still don't know who I am supposed to guard. I get teased, and the guardians in training are pretty much separated into three groups. The supporters, who don't hate me for no reason, the haters, who hate me for some reason even though I haven't interacted with them and they probably think they are better than me, and the ones who don't care. They don't give a squat about anything going on with the supporters and haters. "It's time for the ceremony!" My mom called again. "What's the point if I haven't gotten anyone to watch over for the past three years?" I called back walking downstairs to the main room of my house. "Well, we'll just keep trying." My mom replied. "Alright..." I said walking out the door to the temple.

I always get stares when I walk around not cause I don't have anyone to guard, it's how I look in general. I have long flowy white hair that goes down my back, and I have pale skin, and pale blue eyes. Apparently it's rare to naturally look like that. I arrived at the temple. As usual, everyone was divided into three groups: The supporters, haters, and the ones who don't care. It's always like that.

Almost everyone has gotten someone to watch over while I'm over here with no one. Again. For the past three years. This is really annoying by now.

After the ceremony, I walked home. "Did you have any luck honey?"

"No." I looked at the darkening sky. It's a full moon again. I ran upstairs.

I've made up my mind. If they aren't going to tell me who I'm guarding, I'll find out myself.

I'm going to the human world and I'm not coming back until I find out who I am supposed guard.
