Dead Mans Island

On The Ship

Hi im maria and im 12 years old. We are heading on the ship and we are heading to an island that no one has seen but my father. He named it the found island. We are going to see if he is telling the truth and im so happy because mama will be coming with us. This is going to be fun and its my first ride to.

"Maria you have to stay near me or your mother unless you have permission got it"?. Asked my dad

"Yes dad" I said as he walked off and I started to go look for mom.

As I find mama I hold her hand and she smiles at me. As she shows me to my room she kisses me on my head and says be safe and lock your door when you go to sleep. I knod and she let me get settled into my room. When I finally go to bed i fall asleep fast.

The next morning I wake up and find dad. He was watching the sea and I wanted to look at it to but as soon as I grabbed his hand he started asking me if the view was pretty and before I could answer one of the people interrupts and he has to go help the captain.

I had to go find mama because dad told me to and so I found her in her room doing her hair and so I sat down on the bed and she started brushing my hair and we just sat there in silence. When she finnished she went back to brush her hair.

So its day three up here and im so bored. Its been the same asalways I see dad and then he gets called and then I have to go see mom and she brushes my hair. Except she talks to me alot more and asks me questions. Sometimes I thought she would never stop but it ends not long after I think it. And she always has a bright mind so whenever I feel down she cheers me up.

Its day five and I see a storm up ahead, im kinda worried but you know I have to stay strong. When we reach the storm its like the ocean is against us and the waves are big. I was scared so I held on to mama and she held onto me.

Its been a few minutes and We just herd something crash into us, I thinl it was another boat. Oh no we are sinking I tried to help her but she said to leave without her and I even tried to plead her and she said go its an order. So I left her and made it to the only raft filled with 5 people and I was in tears when I saw my parents up theyre and I almost swam oit to them but I couldn't.

When we hit the island I was asleep and when I woke up the boat was on the island and it was kinda torn up. It was just lying there and when I went inside I went to my parents room and I saw they're corps's. I was so shocked that I just fell to my knees and started crying.
