Mayuzumi just want some love

Unexpected meeting

In a bustling street on Tokyo, a man with silver hair weave through the crowd while holding a light novel on his crowd. He was in the middle of running an errand for his basketball team which in the middle of training camp.

Suddenly, he hit someone when he turns around the corner. As he takes out his sight from his light novel, he sees a petite tomboyish woman with brunette hair color.

"Ouch... Watch you're going—Hey aren't you the Rakuzan player, Mayuzumi?" The petite girl scrubbing her hair trying to ease her pain. Mayu vaguely remembers the identity of the girl in front of him.

"And I recall you are Seirin coach" Mayu avert his eyes, wishing for the conversation to end, while helping her to stand up.

"Riko, Aida Riko... You know... they say that you are Kuroko rip off –"

"I am nobody rip off" Suddenly Mayu complexion turn from nonchalant to anger, he never had a good impression toward people who often tries to differentiate him with the phantom sixth man.

"And I completely agree with you there. You are who you are, your latent abilities are way off with Kuroko." Riko smile sweetly, suddenly a thump could be heard from Mayu's heart. He uses his Light novel to block his blush on his face.

"Oh I am sorry, I have an errand to do... Can we exchange emails, so we can get in touch" Riko take out her phone. In a daze, Mayu gives Riko his email address before she bolts off.

Mayu shakes his head to return him to the reality, he closes his Light novel and decides to finish his errand and go back to the hotel where all Rakuzan players stay.

"Mayu-chan~" suddenly a flamboyant man greet Mayu in front of the hotel and take the grocery bag out from his hand.

Truthfully, he wasn't aware when Reo appears and take the grocery bag. He was too occupied with a single entity in his conscious and that is Seirin's coach, Aida Riko. An echo from Reo's calling suddenly wakes him up.

"Mayu-chan— Mayu-chan— What's wrong?" Reo's face stays in front of his face. With his worried look examine Mayu's complexion. He pushes his face away.

'I'm okay... Let's go to the room, everyone is waiting" Mayu decide to ignore Reo and goes to the nearest open elevator and press the fourth floor.

Day has passed since Mayu encounter with the Seirin coach, occasionally she sent him several emails from what she eats that day or the disappearance of Kuroko and reappearance to a favor to ask Akashi for a practice match when they go to Kyoto.

"I barely mingle with them anymore this day Aida-san. I have no connection with the basketball team anymore" Mayu type a short message to Aida after the loss of Rakuzan match with Seirin Mayu quit the basketball team originally he plays due to Akashi's order. However, time to time he met with them just to play a match or two. Suddenly his phone buzzed.

"Awww... You seriously quit the team then? What a waste ｡゜(｀Д')゜｡"

Mayu chuckles when he sees Aida-san text, she always easily expresses her own emotion and stays true to it. It makes her cute.

"At least, you can still email Akashi, right? right? He was your captain"

That's a half truth. Normally teammates will have each other email address or at least the captain, but since he never disappears suddenly like Kuroko nor skip practice or late to it, Mayu never bother himself to add Akashi's email address.

He scrolls to his short list of email address.

'Oh wait I have Reo email address, I guess I can ask him' He type a short message to Reo and got a fast reply that he will ask Akashi regarding the practice match.

"Considering done... I should go now, have an appointment with a dentist" He press sent button before he enters the dentist room.

"Many thanks, Mayuzumi-san :D, don't let cavity beat you" He closes his flip phone when the nurse call him from the receptionist. Aida is a nice and funny girl, he must admit. He couldn't wait for the practice match with Seirin, joining practice match won't hurt him.

Not too far from the dentist, a guy with short black hair and a glasses with Seirin uniform accompany Riko as she stroll around the city with a bag of shopping and happy expression painted on Riko's face
