Dawn shut the door to her bed room shaking her wet, long hair. She sat at the foot of the bed looking down at the phone. Her excitement showed on her face for only one reason; to start this summer.

Telling her only best friend in class today that these three months will be such a blast that her brain won't forget. Of course her friend, Mia Desire, gave her theory on why she couldn't remember the past summers.

"Maybe because you did nothing but sleep or be on your phone that even remembering was such a loss cause." She had exclaimed.

Dawn turned her phone off and plugged it into the charger. She snuggled in her sheets and reached out to the lamp. About to turn it off when she heard a soft knock on the door.

"Come in," she said in a small voice. Boyish blonde curly hair was messily stuck to her brother, Dante's head. He smiled at her and came into her room in only his boxers.

"So.. summer tomorrow huh?" He asked with a smile shining on his face. "Yep," she said popping the p. "Hope I don't forget this one like all the others that miserable left my brain."

His smile slightly turned downwards at that mention. "I need to tell you something." His face turned serious and Dawn's conscious was tired enough to stay quiet and listen.

"Don't be mad tomorrow everything will be explained. Also we're going on a trip to a exotic place for the whole summer. I'll wake you up so we can leave first thing." Dante said to the sleepy dawn.

"Okay goodnight Dante." She said sleepily. Dante slowly closed the door but before he did he whispered," Goodnight Dawn."

Right before her eyes shut, the clock right next to her turned to 12:00 am which brought a bright light coming from the window. It was heading towards Dawn. The light stopped just on top of her head then slowly went into her brain.

Dawn moved slightly meaning the colorful light is doing the job it does yearly; bringing back memories. The light has done his deed for seventeen years to two specific people. Both in different dimension which have a prophecy to deal with.

The dream goes on as bits of memories come flashing in Dawns dream.

Last summer.

"Why are you moving the painting? You never do that." Bright early in the morning, the first day of summer begins.

The painting was quite realistic as there was a dirt road worn out from lots of travel. The road only leads to civilization and farther is a castle, higher than ten floors, wider than 130 meters. Before it were lots of cottage, smaller than a one story house.

Surrounding the dirt road are colorful flowers. They follow the road until the edge of the village. To the left of the painting are two willow trees that support a hammock in between.

Dawn always thought the painting was odd and beautiful. When she had friends over their gaze will always linger on the painting and ask why was it there. Her answer to that was to shrug and continue what they've been doing.

She too did not know as her parents forbid her to move or touch the painting which is why it became sheath with dust.

Dante looked at her and smiled.

"It's time to tell you the truth little sis. I've been waiting for this moment for nine months." He carefully took off the painting by pushing it into the wall, upwards, and to the right. He placed it on Dawns bed and took her hand.

"Welcome to our reality, your world."

As they stepped pass the open French doors, there was a ruckus going on a few feet ahead.

They rounded the corner to see a boy Dawn's age, maybe a few months older. He must've been told bad news as his temper would only show if they were a pissed off woman, or if they had anger issues.

Dawn looks at what his right hand hold. A fragile vase that had a beautiful design on it. 'It must be very expensive.' Dawn thought. As she thought that, the vase was suddenly thrown at the wall shattered into irreplaceable pieces.

Dawn's hand clasped her mouth in shocked as she looked back at the hand that thrown the beautiful vase. It had a ring resembling to the one that she wears around her neck.  Her parents had given her the chain and told her to find something that's worth remembering and wear it on her.

They've called it the memory chain as she had told her parents that nothing she tried to do was working to remember the summers. The chain did cheer her up but it didn't work as she wondered for nine months how it had gotten there.

Now more confused as ever, Dawn plays with her ring. Another replica of the ring the boy wears on his ring finger.

More memories came but not all can be brought back in a jiffy. Dawn slowly moves awake to the middle of her bed and hear quite whispers in front of her.

"She's going to freak. How come I remember and she doesn't? This is going to happen again. Do you remember how freaked she was to find out about all this last time?" The brunette told the curly blonde her worries.

He only gave her his calm smiled.

"Shh it's fine. Look she's awake." They had both move their gazed at Dawn, her trying to get into a seating position to give her unfazed expression.

"Why are you guys doing here early in the morning at," pause," 8:10 am?" She was still sleeping as it takes cold water to refresh her mind or an adrenaline kick to make her brain working.

"Remember I told you about that exotic place we are going to. Get up so we can get going." He starts to leave when Mia says,"we went there last summer. What was your dream about?"

Dante paused to look at the painting. He waited for Dawn's answer which she still said sleepily.

"Um well I had lots of events come up as I had a rush of memories coming back to me. I don't know why I would remember now." She says confused on how and why would this happen now than in September where she tried to figure out she couldn't.

"All will be explained later." Her brother left off to somewhere in the house.

"Let's get you packed and ready to go." Mia pulled Dawn out of bed and push her to the bathroom.

Yet when Dawn splashes cold water to her face, she only thinks of the dream. She seemed to though," I remember this dream like it had happened."

She went back to her room to see all her clothes  packed and ready. Mia was just sitting in the middle of the room, eyes shut and smiling. "How.." a confused Dawn ask.

The brunette opens her eyes and her mouth ready to speak when the curly blonde returns. "Ready." He looked at them both, to the brunette nodding and his sister frowning.

"You may think this is bizarre but it is our reality, your world. "
