"Come, little ones. Gresh is strong, and mighty. You are nothing compared to me. "

It's been six years since I've died.

The world seemed so dark in the beginning of my death. I watched the swordsmen who killed me gloriously clean his blade of the blood which stained it's steel. My blood.

I watched him take life after life, killing townsfolk after townsfolk. Blood splattered everywhere.

Then I was moved. Dragged somewhere..I was so cold the entire time. I couldn't close my own eyes to hide from the horrors I had to witness after. Everyone. Everyone in town was dead. The soldiers..

They killed everyone. The townsfolk, the shoppers..the mayor. Mother and father must have died too. I couldn't see them..

I heard cheering..the sounds of soldiers cheering on their victory. The sounds of fires being lit..I watched bodies burning to ashes before even myself was about to be ignited. I didn't want to end like this..I didn't want these men to merely live killing innocents like us. We never did anything wrong! We were a simple society. These soldiers worked for a higher order, and that order demanded us to die. I scream in my head, hoping to one day be reincarnated as someone who could bring these men down a notch...

"And that chance will become available to you, my dear. "

Someone..Heard me? The voice was so..deep..The soldier holding the torch seems phased..did he hear it too?

"Come on out, whoever you are. No survivors remain from the Sulvguard. " loudly spoke the torch holding soldier. I could see the blood lust in his eyes..he wanted to make sure no one would survive. Who was this voice? what did it want?

I watched in a matter of seconds a fully grown man, with blood lust in his eyes, shriveled down to a man of pure fear. His expression paled out, his torch dropped to the ground before him, the sizzle of the flame burning against the sand. What..What happened?

The soldiers questioned the soldiers changed expression, several soldiers began to move behind him, and then..nothing? I couldn't have blinked..but it all went dark and then..nothing.

"I don't appreciate raiding towns, under my protection. " The voice rung out again. I couldn't see where it's coming from, I couldn't see the person with the voice..but the screams of the soldiers which followed after the voice, gave me the hope this voice would exact my revenge.

"Revenge is merely an emotion one expresses, as a more hurtful form of anger, my dear. "

Everything went silent after the voice spoke to me again. The soldiers stopped their screams..everything got darker by the moment. Torches slowly faded, and it seemed light merely faded from the surrounding area. Was I finally going to join my parents in the afterlife? would all of this finally fade away?

Then I felt my cold go away. I felt..feeling in my fingers. Air struck my lungs and stabbed deep into my chest. The voice..did it do this?

I heard the groans of..others. I heard small moans flowing from small shuffles around me. I must have been brought back, I feel life flow through me again..but I don't feel the pain. I don't feel the harm they've done to me. I feel normal..I feel hungry.

I've got another chance. I've got life. I push my limbs to move, and I hear bones crack as the joints readjust from their broken and snapped positioning. My arms creating large snaps as the elbow finally goes back into it's normal position. My knees straightening out and slowly pushing my feet to the ground. With this strength I push up, my hands finding their ways to the ground, my entire body slowly moving up.

I've not blinked once. I've not once had to take a breath, besides the one forced down my lungs. Somethings not right.

I can turn my head, I can feel it readjust slowly to the life pumped back into it. I can look around..What has it done.

What was once a peaceful civilization, raided by soldiers, all murdered and dismembered, and began to burn, became a land of ravaging undead. I watch as townsfolk rip once life soldiers to pieces..Hell. Even the mayor himself I watch rip the throat right from one female soldier. He's devouring it.

I want to join. Nobody told me we'd start eating so soon!

Then I dive in. I waste no time, I run past townsfolk to whatever pieces remain. I want some before we finish them all of.

Finally I get hold of a leg from one of the soldiers. I keep it to myself. This is mine.

I bite into it..my teeth seemed to have changed, they're sharper, perhaps. I don't care. I feel the warmth left of the soldiers foot slide slowly down my throat. If I don't need to breathe, I don't need to worry about choking, would I?

I paid no attention to the large black figure moving through all of us. It never once attacked, it never once made anyone attack it.

"Very good. Isn't it? You're mine now. " The voice rung out, and within seconds, that figure vanished.

My head became fuzzy..I don't know what the voice did to us. I don't know what happened. Though I only know two things. Flesh is the best tasting thing in the universe.

And that voice has done something worse then the soldiers have ever could, he's trapped us here. We're dead, but we cannot truly die. The after life is something we can never achieve. We've become spirits with shackles. Our bodies as the infinite prison.

The voice was the evil one here, all this time..but I will obey it. I will obey you. My lord.

It's been six years since I died, it's been six years since I was able to feel. It's been six years since the after life almost touched me, when I was almost free.

It has been six years since I became a puppet among thousands others. I've never thought I would wish for someone to kill me so much. Though how can you wish to be dead, when you're not truly alive? I just want to be free. I just want to see my parents again.

Well, I just want to see them alive, and not with an abdomen piece hanging from their mouth.

The voice controls all that I do. I merely spectate everything now from within my own mind. My body has lost itself to hunger. Blindly killing all it sees, and the voice allows

Please free me from Greshs nightmare.
