IT 2- Rockslide

I couldn't believe what I had just heard. Alex said to run away. Believe me, I know equations, and Alex plus running away from danger doesn't exactly work. But I listened. And I ran with Alex. Airocc's boulders followed us. Alex swiftly handed me an object similar to TTAM's key. Which, if you don't remember, looks like a pen. Alex took one out for himself, and demonstrated for me how to use it. He pointed it at the gaining boulders, then clicked a button on the bottom. A bright light flashed, and several boulders' eyes shriveled away with the boulders immediately eroding to dust afterwards. I did the same. Several more boulders were eliminated. We continued to run, repeatedly flashing our only weapons in the boulders' eyes. Eventually, all of Airocc's boulders were gone. "What now?" I asked. "Now, we go back," Alex replied. Still breathing heavily, I stammered, "Wh-what?! we ran all this way just to go back?" "Oh, Max," Alex started, "can't you ever trust me?" he tossed a ball to the ground and told me to think of anything except for a place, because it was single use only. Alex pressed a button and the ball instantly turned to a strange, luminous portal. "Ladies first!" he shouted jokingly as he laughed and shoved me through. We were back at Airocc's mountain. Alex came through behind me. The rumbling continued to shake the ground beneath me. As he emerged, the portal closed up and Alex took out a large, black jewel. "What's that?" I still could barely hear myself shout over the rumbling. "It's the black diamond!" he shouted back. "The only way to defeat Airocc is with a mineral forged from one of his boulders. You probably didn't see me pick it up while we were running. We need to smash it. Now- where is that pickaxe...?"
