Nicholas's p.o.v. My name's Nicholas Willow I'm 15 have brown hair and blue eyes I'm on the shorter side and am half way through my first year of high school and let's just say my life... Sucks. You see my parents have high expectations about what my life will become so from as early as I can remember I had one lesson and one lesson alone practically drilled in to my head. The ingredients for a conventional happy ending step1) get good grades step2) get a girlfriend step3) propose after you graduate step4) have kids. Those were what I was told would make me happy ... But that's what would make them happy for me to live up to there expectations but I don't want that to be my life because well I'm gay. I could never tell my parents they'd disown me in a second like my older sister Jain. She's 2 years older than me the reason why she was kicked out was because she isn't straight she's bisexual. I'm not even supposed to see her any more but we're still in the same school but I'd never tell my parents that. Speaking of witch my best friend Abby has a huge crush on her but there's a slight problem... She's my fake girlfriend well to our respective parents at least because her parents are just as homophobic as mine and as you can probably tell she's also gay. At school though is a hole nother story to people there me and Abby are just best friend's and not popular in the slightest mostly because we're thought of as the gay best friend's. Here's another thing I'm bullied for exactly that reason and I can't tell my parents because then they'd know I'm gay. So I suffer in silence. So that's why my life sucks I don't know how long me and Abby can pretend or how long before my secret slips to my parents. All I know is if and when it does my life won't be the same wether it's because my secret slips, my sister Jain and Abby finally confess to each other or the bulling finally kill's me believe me it's gotten close. All I can say is I'm no sure what's worse living a lie or dieing because of the truth but what I've always known for certain is I don't want a conventional happy ending what I do want is someone just someone to love and to love me back.
