Chapter One: The letter

Hannah's POV:

     I woke up one day and saw an owl with a message tied to its leg. It said the following:

Ms. Lynns'
105 W. Wicked Drive

Dear Ms. Lynn,

We are pleased to inform you that you've been accepted in Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. We await your owl no later than July 31. The following list has all the things that you will need for this school year and years to come. See you at Hogwarts.

    I was screaming, when my mother and father barged in. "What happened? Are you okay?" they asked me. I nodded my head and showed them the letter. They threw their arms around me into a hug. " We can go to Diagon Alley tomorrow and get the supplies. But for now we will have a family meeting at 7 p.m. sharp," my father said. My mother and I both nodded. Then we headed out. "Well," my mother said," Happy Birthday, Hannah." I smiled at her. "Thanks mom. Thanks for remembering," I said. Well, I should get ready. The Malfoy's are visiting today, I thought.

Later...

    "Ahh, Hannah dear, Happy Birthday," Draco's mother, Narcissa, said to me. " Thank you, Narcissa," I said with a kind smile on my face. I felt a hand on my shoulder. " You have grown to a beautiful young lady, Hannah," Draco's dad, Lucius, said to me."Hannah just got a letter this morning to go to Hogwarts," my dad announced. I nodded in approval. "Well then, Draco has gotten the letter this morning as well," Lucius said. Yes! Draco will be at the same school as me! "That's really great. Hey, can guys care to join us at Diagon Alley tomorrow to do some shopping?" I asked so nicely. " We'd love to join you. Well we should get home before it gets too late. We will see you at Diagon Alley tomorrow at 10 a.m." Lucius said. "Goodbye Lynn's and happy birthday Hannah," Narcissa said. "Goodbye," I said and waved bye. They waved back.
