      Gods. Gods. Gods.

That was the exact and same words that kept ringing in Emily's head. Ever since, she took a look on his face, her heart had been beating nonstop. He was handsome as hell. His light blond hair, he has pale skin though he's muscular, and not to mention, his beautiful sea-like eyes, which she had been finding hard enough to avert her eyes from it.

They had been standing from the same spot from the last minute. She decided to break the silence. Emily opened her mouth to speak but pretty boy here interrupted her from doing so.

"What's your name, age, and why are you here? Or better yet, how did you find this place?"

Whoa. Slow your roll man. Easy. Easy. One at a time. One at a time.

"Emily Atalanta, seventeen-years-old, I am here because I'm looking for a place to stay. And to how I found this place. . .well. . .I just followed you. How 'bout you?"

He placed down his dagger, so it was only fair if she, also placed it back to her thigh. He huffed out a sigh that sounded like "I-am-so-done-with-you" kind of sigh. She didn't care. He scratched his head and looked at the entrance and exit to and from this place. She didn't notice it at first, but he actually had a scar on his right cheek, and a little scar in his forehead just above his eyebrow. He looked back at her with those eyes of him again. Gods. She was blushing, it's love at first sight. . .or something like that.

"Riel. Riel Azarel. Eighteen. I apologize for treating you that way, Emily. I don't like people trespassing without my permission."

She smiled and put out a peace sign and said, "Hey, it's alright. And besides I was the one who followed you here. Nice mansion by the way."

He didn't smile. He just kept his face normal and nodded.

"So, you said you were looking for a place to stay?"

Emily nodded and grabbed her suitcases. And eyed the mansion once again. Up. Down. Up. Down. It was like a fairy-tale. . .that this was happening of course. She would be the princess, obviously. Though, she didn't know who would be the prince charming that will be saving her.

She started following Riel towards the door and to the inside of the mansion.

"Am I dreaming?" she murmured, he didn't hear. Her face was full of surprise and delight. Inside of the mansion was like she was inside a castle. Riel grabbed all of her suitcases—no wait, gold and red were aligning her suitcases and then—POOF! It was magic—magic, so she wasn't the only one.

Her own eyes widened. Not believing that this—this person had magic. "Where did all of my suitcases went?"

      "Up in your room."

"In my room?" she wanted to protest to bring her suitcases back, but a lot of questions that filled around her head she didn't even kept track of the time.

He walked towards the living room, Emily followed. "Yes. Your room. This is where you'll be living. . .just for now." He went to his bookshelves and picked a random book. He and Emily sat down in different chairs. He started reading while he kept answering her questions.

She crossed both her arms and legs, "So, why are you letting me stay here?"

"For one, you're only here for temporary. Two, I'm letting you stay here because you might leak information about my place to a person."

      "Thanks," she murmured.

He looked at her for a moment, up and down, up and down. Then he blinked. Once. Twice.

"Do you go to school?" That startled Emily. He must've seen her id—no wait, how stupid of her to wear it. And how embarrassing.

      "Yes."

      "Which one?"

"In Sliniams, The Academy of Magic. It's that big academy just three blocks away from this castle."

He reached out a remote saying, here you look bored go ahead and watch anything you want from the tv.

She took it from his hand and turned on the tv and changed the channel to Discovery Science. She was always fond of anything that included science. For a fact, the subject Science was her second favorite. Her first favorite? Magic, of course!

"So what kind of magic you have?" Riel asked while listening to what the scientists in the tv discussing about our planet and our solar system.

She lowered down the volume just a bit. "Ice and Wind. How about you? What kind of magic do you have?"

      "Fire."

Now that explains the Gold and Red magic from transporting her suitcases in her room. He stood up and went to the kitchen. She took a glance and he grabbed ingredients. He must be cooking for dinner. And plus, the sun was almost setting. Another day will end.

And a new one will form.
