Hello people who don't rly care. I'm very bored and very tired so I'm gonna write this because I have nothing better to do with my life. I'm in eighth grade now and it's kinda weird. Most of my teachers are pretty cool, but by eighth grade they don't rly about rules that much. We don't rly have a dress code anymore, some of them let us eat in the halls and it's just general chaos. In other news I'm addicted to caffeine. Now, onto the rant/breakdown of my current life.
1st Period: ELA with Carol. She's cool and British and her class is rly fun. I also sit next to my friend/crush so that's fun.
2nd Period: Science with Mrs. Kwon. Meh. This class is okay-ish at best in my opinion. The teacher gives us like 6th grade level HW but she gives a TON of it. Like four days to do ten pages of random stuff about like physics or something. Idk...
3rd Period: Geometry with Mr. Wood. This class is weird. I like the teacher, he's pretty chill and lets us eat and stuff (once this kid named Phillip taught the class while the teacher bought Weird Al Yankovic tickets... its fun.
4th Period: Social Studies with The Best Teacher Ever (aka Victoria). She's an author and she's got a book out that you can get on Amazon (link: https://www.amazon.com/Odin-Inheritance-Victoria-L-Scott/dp/1628281529) and she couldn't find a textbook for out SS class so she opted to write her own. Her class is engaging and interesting and I look forward to it every day.
5th Period: French with Mlle. Longcore. Kill me now. She's the French teacher for the second and third graders at my school and she talks about herself in the third person. Enough said
6th Period: Art/Gym Rotation with Mrs. Cohen or Lenny or Vince depending on the day. Not much to say here. Gym is not my strong suit. Also we're playing football rn so it's not going well.
7th Period: Lunch! I spend most days playing cello during lunch/recess but when I'm not I'm chilling with my nerd frands and we have fun being awkward and weird.
8th Period: Flex time (advisory/study hall/sometimes assembly) with Mrs. B. Meh. All the 8th grade band/orchestra kids are in my advisory (grand total of 12 of us) and it's a weird mix of ppl.
9th Period: Orchestra(M, W, F)/Culture Club (more cello practice)(T, Th) both with Mrs. C. Not much to say except we get tea in CC, which is fun.
Yeah so that's my life 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Also volleyball is a thing that happens in my life and that's fun. My school team is rly bad and I don't think I'm gonna get on a good club team... Whatever. I'm just doing it so I can go to a public school next year. I no longer do dance so that makes life easier and it's almost pumpkin day! Expect a rant on that soon!
