I'll keep this short because I know I skip these things when they are too long. Sorry if you don't get who the story is about, basically my friend Ian brought his friend Kaiya to one of our school dances and now my whole class ships them.

P.S. Sorry Ian

P.P.S. Sorry for all of the notifications I had A LOT of technical difficulties writing and publishing this.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was early April and Kaiya and Ian were racing down the Detonator (a very difficult ski run) at the bottom of the hill Kaiya slowed her snowboard to a stop. Ian, however, didn't see her stop. So, instead of turning his skis around his friend he made a last minute effort to stop and ended up throwing them both into the soft, fluffy, powder on the side of the run.
They were laughing hysterically. Kaiya reached over and grabbed one of Ian's discarded poles and whacked the side of his helmet with it saying, "Doofus." She was still laughing uncontrollably.
Ian was sprawled out next to Kaiya and after Kaiya hit him he flopped himself over her knees. "Well you should have warned me you were going to stop." Ian huffed even though he knew she was the down-hill skier.
Kaiya just rolled her eyes even though Ian couldn't see it, so she threw in a head shake for good measure. She was kind of glad Ian couldn't see her face though because there was a blush spreading across her face. "This is odd." she thought, "I've known Ian for seven months. Why would I develop feelings now? Actually  this make sense, seven months is enough time to develop feelings foe someone."
 "Are you just going to sit there, or are we going back to the truck. My dad is probably already waiting for us." Ian said, shaking Kaiya out of her thoughts. Ian had gotten off her legs and was making snow angels, burying quite deep in the snow.
"OK, OK, Mr. Impatient." Kaiya said knocking the walls in on Ian's angel hole. She chuckled fondly at her friend flailing in a pile of snow as she pulled herself to her feet and brushed the snow off.
By then Ian had climbed out of his angel hole and was giving her a death glare. "What?" Kaiya asked innocently.
"You know what you did." Ian pouted, "You ruined down my angel hole." he sulked as he collected his poles and clicked back into his skis. "Race you to the truck." Ian yelled as he tried (and failed) to push of in the deep powder.
Smirking, Kaiya unclipped one of her feet and dragged her board through the powder beating Ian to the run. She let out a laugh and bent down to clip her boot back into her board pushing off.
"Hey CHEATER." Ian yelled teasingly after Kaiya, but smiled at her affectionately as he watched her braids fly behind her from under her helmet. Ian had liked Kaiya from the moment he met her, "There isn't time to fantasize now  you are in a race." Ian thought to himself as he freed himself from the powder and raced after her.
