I stood outside a huge castle-like mansion. Five guards dressed in black armor stood in front of it. I hid in a nearby bush and watched the guards watch over the mansion. My name is Blaire. I'm currently seventeen, and my parents were murdered when I was sixteen. I've never found out who did it. My only piece of evidence is a symbol painted in my room, with my parents blood.
I run around the city stealing food from nearby carts to survive, and never get caught. I go on my own. I won't depend on others. I won't need friends....anymore.
I needed to get in that mansion. The woman who lives there stole a pearl necklace and I'm gonna steal it from her! Those pearls are worth thousands! But I needed a way in there. Those gaurds were huge. I threw a stone in another bush far away from me. The guards heard it and instantly ran to check it out. I'm a quick runner so I dashed into the mansion. The guards noticed and began running after me. I quietly closed the doors so they couldn't get in.
The woman was out and about. I ran into her room and inside her jewelry box was the pearls. I grabbed them and ran out the back of the mansion, but the gaurds beat me there.
"HAND OVER THE PEARLS!" One of the them yelled. He tried grabbing me but I quickly dodged his arms.
"Ha!" I ran pass them. "Come and get em" I jumped onto one of their horses and ran away. "She should fire you five! Your not smart enough!" I knew they'd be after me so I jumped off the horse and ran into a lab I've never explored.Watch those gaurds follow the horse tracks, slow. I heard voices in the lab so I climbed into a vent to hide. The voices were talking about revenge on somebody.
"It's time boys. I must get revenge. That guy knocked me off the richest throne and now he has it all!" A voice yelled.
  "Boss-"
"Shut up! I'm not done talking!" The voice shouted. "Guys, were gonna need a way to find them."
I heard the guards yelling. " Where is she!" I gulped as I heard footsteps walk into the room.
"She wouldn't be here." The guard whispered. "We need to get out of here."
"Horse tracks!" A gaurd yelled. "C'mon!"
 "Close one." I whispered.
"I'll stay here just in case she's hiding." One of them said.
"No." I gulped and began climbing through the vents thinking I'll get loss.
