"Hey wait up! "
Running as fast as I possibly could trying to catch up with a tall like figure a distance away but it felt like my legs including all my organs would drop dead any second.

"What the Hell Damon!
You said you would wait up for me as soon as the bell rung for after school"

Taking in every breath of air, I notice that Damon's mind is elsewhere.

    "I apologise Lils. But I've got to go!        See you tomorrow."

As he sprints off and in minutes he was out of sight.
Annoyed by what just happened,I couldn't help but feel a little sad to be walking home alone. Damon and I would always walk home together seeing that our places were just 2 blocks away from each other ,and what a 20 minute walk from Rewlands High, would feel like 2 minutes with us always chatting about.

Lily pulls out her headphones from her backpack and remained deep in thought about what Damon could be in such a rush for.
As the wind slightly takes hold of her short dark brown hair loosely flowing over her face with her head slumped down, her white school shirt hanging out untidily from her red striped,navy blue shirt and her long navy blue socks that were till her ankles and dusty black shoes from all the running she did, Lily began singing offtune to her favourite song, Symphony by Clean Bandit, that started playing not worrying at all about who was watching and didn't pay any attention to her surroundings.

Shortly after she had felt a hard bump against her left side that nearly sent her falling onto the ground until she felt a warm hand against her right arm that grabbed ahold of her before plummeting on the ground.
As soon as she looked up ,she saw a tall light muscular figure with the rays of the sun highlighting his brown hair but formed a shadow around the figures face blinding her from seeing him.

As soon as I regained my feet on the ground I couldn't help but notice the handsome figure that was right in front of my eyes. That perfectly sharped nose, the tight cheekbone, his plush pink lips and not to mention the deep brown eyes that complimented his thinly shaped eyebrows.
A deep yet enchanting voice came from his mouth

"Hey, You shouldn't be bumping into strangers like that"

As I nervously break out a few words
"Uhm.. I'm .. my .. apologies"

"I kid, no big deal.. I'm Matthew by the way" as he stares at me intensely

I couldn't help but stumble at every word. This is not like me to behave this way.
"Uhm.. I'm ..L...Lily.."

"Nice to meet you Lily... Really, you should be more careful where you walk"
giving off a smirk ,and just before I could let out a few more words, he hopped into a blue Mercedes and was gone in seconds.

I stood in awe for awhile until I simply brushed it off and continued my journey back home.
As soon as I entered the house , I was greeted by my younger brother who had his eyes glued to the television screen playing 'CallOfDuty' being more focused on the game then anything else.

I dumped my bag near the door and headed for the fridge, all I needed was a cold glass of water cause I was quenched.
I went up to my room and laid flat onto my bed, I was so exhausted from the day and not to mention how pissed off I was at Damon..

I decided to check my phone for any messages and I got a text from Damon... I immediately opened it up.

~Hey Lils. I know you super mad at me for taking off the way I did but I really do apologise and how I didn't tell you but had an urgent family crisis... will explain in person..

I felt better when I received his message but more concerned on what was going on

~It's all good, hope you okay though

~Don't stress ill be okay

Partly satisfied with his message as I'm still concerned about what is going on cause it sounded serious .. I found myself drifting off into slumber...
I woke up after an hour and felt better..

~mum:don't cook.. bringing food home .. Mwah.

Oh shoot I forgot! But thank goodness my mom saved the day cause I was exhausted.

That was one less thing to worry about , now I could get started on all the schoolwork I got today. But I couldn't shift the thought of that guy I bumped into earlier on today... What did he say his name was? .. oh yes ..Matthew...
