I saw him. He was standing in the corner of the library. Tall boy with dark hair, eyes were in the color of emerald and his pale skin was covered in ink. This was Isaac Lahey. A student who everybody was afraid of. Ugh, everybody except me. I wasn't scared, I was... amazed. I'd never seen him talking to other students before.
My thoughts about Isaac were interrupted by my phone. It was a message from my mum which said that I was going to be late for my dance practise. Gosh I totally forgot. I wanted to look at him for the last time but he was gone.
When I finally came into the dance studio, I was out of breath. I missed the bus and I had to run all the way there. The rest of the dancer were already rehearsing their solos or duos. I quickly changed to my training dress and went to apologize to trainer for my late arrival.
She wasn't very pleased with that, and maybe that was the reason she didn't gave me a solo. Instead of it she put me into a pair with Isaac. Wait, what??? Isaac is in our dance studio??? This couldn't be real! Okay, I took a deep breath and started to rehearse our choreography.
Two weeks later we had our performance in the Sadler's Wells Theatre. Every single dancer was nervous because if they fail, the whole town would see it. When the time for our dance finally came, we walked on the stage. I was wearing red dress with black lace and Isaac wore black shirt and black pants. Song started and I made a few moves. Then Isaac joined me. We danced in harmony and I felt like we were one person in two different bodies. In the end we made a final pose and after that we enjoyed loud applause. We shared a smile and walked off the stage.
After the show we went to a bar in the town center. To be honest I might drank a little more than I should that night. We had lots of fun and I could tell that I felt different when I danced with Isaac in the bar. Few shots later he took me to the roof where we danced again. But this time it was slow and full of...love. We didn'ţ have any music nor did we need it. Slow moves in the rythm of waltz and sound of heartbeats filled the silent. We looked in each others eyes. Our noses were nearly touching. But it wasn't enough. We connected our lips and forgot about whole world for a while. But after few seconds Isaac stopped and let go of my hand. I opened my eyes but I couldn't see him anywhere. It felt like he faded away. But all of this was real right??? I felt his arms around my waists, his lips on mine it must have been real! Or was it all just an imagination???
