Strange thoughts filled my head as I awoke from a painful slumber. "Hello?" I squinted my eyes to get a glimpse of where I was. It looked as if I were in a prison. The walls were stone and the door was locked in front of me. I lifted my head slowly to see a plate of food and plastic cup of water. There was also a small note with writing written upon it.
"Good Morning Scarlette. Hope you slept well beautiful. There is no escape but if you find one I will make it worth your while ;)"
I looked up to the right upper corner of the door and spotted a barred up window. Random things had been scattered throughout the room. Scissors, sink, bucket, pebbles, and a 6 foot ladder that had been hidden under the small, rock hard, bed. I decided the best choice was to examine the ladder. It looked sturdy enough to climb up so I carried over to the barred window and placed it upon the dusty wall. There had to be something that could pry the weak bars.
I had jumped down the ladder and searched the room for anything that I could fit through the bars. I suddenly noticed the sink that was rusty and broken. I crouched down and pulled the pipe from the bottom. I rushed back to the ladder, desperate to get out of that stinky room, and climbed up. I placed the bar I grabbed from the sink behind the window's bars and pulled... it was no use. I sat my hand on a piece of the wall to secure myself from falling down but the piece of stone had went down with me. "FUCK!" I looked down at my hand to see a gash in my hand drawing blood. I looked back up to see where the stone had fallen and noticed a something pointy peeking out. I climbed back up the ladder to pull out a screwdriver.
After unscrewing the screws from the window I began to dig the screwdriver into the stone to loosen it. As a few pieces fell I squeezed myself through the little window and slowly dropped to the other side of the cell. I turned around to find one of the last things I had wanted to see.. or so I thought.
