"Mommy, where are you guys going?" I asked as I watched my parents all to the front door.

They both stopped turning around to look at me. They both exchanged a quick glance before my father walked over to me and crouched down to my height running his hand through my hair.

"Raine-"

I sat up taking a large gasp of air. I was covered in sweat and my mess of curly auburn hair stuck to my face. I slowly ran my hands over my face taking deep breaths to calm myself down. Nightmares were a common thing for me with some being worse then others. I walked over to my bathroom picking up some clothes from the floor before gazing at myself in the mirror. My hair was an absolute mess, I felt gross all together, and my underwear was all disheveled. I walked over to the shower and rinsed off feeling more like myself again. Stepping out I sprayed my hair so it wouldn't poof as usual and threw on a white strapless sundress that went to my mid thigh along with some black converse. I quickly made my way down the stairs to grab an apple and put on my black framed glasses.

I walked out of my front door and stood in the grass just taking in the scene. I lived in a beautiful clearing in the forest where I was by myself and have been for twelve years now. My parents left when I was six and I haven't seen them since but I've gotten used to taking care of myself and there's no one to bother me. My wolf also loves it because it gives her so much room to run.

You wanna go? I asked.

Whenever you're ready. She responded.

Ok then let's go.

I took off my clothes and folded them in the ground in a neat pile until I felt my bone begin to crack and shift. I remember the first time I shifted it hurt more then anything I have ever felt before but I've gotten used to it by now.

I loved how happy my wolf, Shiva, was when she ran  we both felt so free, like everything would always be okay. As soon as we exited the clearing we were met with trees on every side of us. Swirls of browns and greens zoomed pass as she ran well that is until we came upon the spot.

As we neared it, Shiva slowed down making sure to keep a bit of distance between us. There's always been something about this spot that I can't quite explain. It feels like I shouldn't cross that point but at the same time I feel a pull in that direction l, something telling me to go.

Today's the day Raine.

I know I just .... something just doesn't seem right about this spot. I told her starting to feel a bit conscious.

Well just have to be careful. She reasoned.

Maybe we should do this tomorrow instead the weather doesn't seem good enough today.

Raine, it's perfectly sunny out and it's not hot or cold. Today is perfect. It's our chance to see Raine besides I've got you protected.

Ok but just be careful.

She slowly walked over to the point and gently put one paw over it. When nothing happened she continued to walk but slowly. It was just the normal forest still but something told me this wasn't the same forest. Suddenly I felt a heavy pressure hovering over us.

"Shift, Rogue, before I tear your throat out." A mans voice said.

I began to shake and did as he said and Shiva went along knowing he was much bigger than us. I could feel his power radiating off of him.

I stood there naked in front of him just trying to cover myself up while not peeing myself over how scared I was.

The man stared at me, his eyes slowly raking over my body as a smirk lit up his face. As his eyes reached mine his face turned to the cold hard glare it was before.
