"I am coming" I thought to myself  , while I was trying to find principal's office by looking here and there, I felt everyone's eyes on me. Nervousness and awkwardness was engulfing me as I am not used with so much of attention. Different types of thoughts invaded my mind like "am i looking weird?" "Is everything fine" " why there are giving me awful looks" while I was thinking all this when I felt somebody's hand on my shoulder, I almost screamed but controlled myself cause it will attract more eyes then I slowly turned and my eyes met with a short girl having beautiful warm brown eyes with a long brown hair which is ponytailed. " Are you new here" she spoke in a sincere but in a polite way "umm...yes" I replied nervously " Do you know where is principal's room?" I asked her " Yes I do know and I will be happy if you let me help you. As you are new here so its my duty to help you. Oh I just forgot to introduce myself, my bad, Hello I am Tia, Tia Lawrence nice to meet you" she said in a single breath. It was pretty hard to process everything as she spoke so fast, it just amazed me. It was difficult to digest this fact that in this era, generous people do exist. "Come back to earth miss, I am waiting. I know I speak very fast and that's why you are taking time to process about what I have just told you, right? I know but never mind you will get used to it" she again said in single breath but this time I gave her a genuine smile and replied her " Yes very nice to meet you too Tia. By the way I am Carol, Carol Water. If it does not bother your time and work then fine you can escort me  to principal's office and you know what it will really help me and very much thank you for your help, you really are a life saver" she smiled at me and nodded and indicated me to follow her and I did. When we were walking through the isolated corridor I noticed the interior of the school and it was really beautiful and neat and I really liked it, suddenly Tia spoke up disturbing the comfortable silence "Isn't it beautiful? I know it is but you will only love the interior and exterior of the school not the students. You know why cause all the students are here egoistic and jocks and a***h***. Soon you will know them" she said in a sad but in a angry tone. Before I could say something " we are here" she said. I nodded and knocked the door, a very strict and authorative male voice came from inside "Come in". Nervousness again engulfed me, hesitantly I opened the door, we both entered the room and saw Mr. Principal looking at us giving us a stern look. He shifted his dead fish eyes particularly to me and raised his eyebrows most probably expecting words from me, I masked my nervousness and put a confident smile and in a confident tone I spoke "good morning Sir, I am Carol Waters. I am the new student here" " Carol... Carol...oh from Canada right? You shifted here because of your father's posting job am I right?" He said in a cheerful tone, is he a bipolar or what. " yes sir"  "Oh miss Carol Waters, nice to meet you, I am this school's principal, myself John Kramer. Welcome to Sakura Garden Highschool." We shook our hands and gave each other a warm smile. " Carol, here is your schedule and your locker's key, your locker no. is imprinted on your key only and wait I will take you both to your first class otherwise you two will get scolding" " Ok sir and thank you for your help". He just nodded then after few minutes of lil walk we reached the classroom. Sir entered the classroom and we followed, every student stood up and greeted him after he entered. Then all of a sudden I felt all the eyes on me again, I started feeling awkward obviously, "good morning students, now you must be wondering that who is that girl so before she introduce herself I would like to tell something about her. She is Carol Waters, all of yours new friend and she is completely new in America cause she recently shifted from Canada because of her father's job so, I will be very happy if you all cooperate with her. Am I clear?"he announced suddenly , "Yes" everyone replied in chorus. "Please introduce yourself" he said to me " Good morning everyone, I am Carol Waters. Nice to meet you" I said in a very loud little confident voice, " Tia ,Carol please take your seat and students have a good day" he smiled all of us then went away. "Carol, welcome to Sakura Garden. This is my permanent seat so, whenever you come early or late seat here ok? Even if I don't come seat here cause nobody will leave their marked seat for newbie OK? By the way will you seat with me?" She asked the last question which she should have asked first, though it's better to sit with someone like her than sitting all alone in this new place. "Will you seat beside me?" "I would love to" I said giving her a cheerful smile,  she just smiled and nodded. We took our place, it was the last bench and beside window and obviously I will take the corner seat cause it is close to window and it will help me to search eye candies. Lucky me." Let me see your schedule once" "yeah, here" I gave her, she looked at that thin sheet, her eyebrows frowned and she chewed her lips as if she is solving mystery "Is something wrong?" "Hmmm this whole year we can only share three classes together English, geography, economics but don't worry my other friends will be be there. You will meet them today at lunch" "great that I got three classes with you" "yup". We started gossiping about which anime we have seen or not then about our late teenage life, blah blah blah. We chatted for the entire period, then suddenly the bell rang making us startle, it was weird that teacher didn't caught us I guess we were sitting at the last bench that's why. Whatever we moved to our next two classes then finally break. The next too classes went well as it was not that boring. Finally lunch time came and 're- introduction' time also. Our school canteen was pretty big, there were  big rectangular tables and beside the two sides tables were long benches facing opposite to each other, then there were small round tables where four chairs were there to each small tables. We took our place at one of the empty long benches, "why we are sitting at these long benches?" "Here they comes" she exclaimed, "who?" Then i follow her gaze, I was shocked as I saw her gang coming. There was a girl who was little tall than me with russet brown hair and amber eyes, and beside her four boys were there. A fluffy one, a skinny tall one, a slim one and finally a really skinny one, as I named them. The amber girl sat beside Tia and the four boys sat at the opposite bench. The slim one was pretty cute he was just facing me I can't help myself from drooling, caughting me off guard he winked at me in embarrassment I shifted my eyes to mr. Fluffy. "So... Who is she" asked mr. Fluffy "oh, she is a newbie in our school as well as in our group. She is Carol, Carol Waters" said Tia in cheerful tone " Hi guys I am Carol nice to meet you" I said looking at them. They smiled at me and introduced themselves,the cute slim guy is Samuel, amber girl is Diana, mr. Fluffy is Jack, really skinny guy is Alex and finally the tall skinny guy is Jasper. We had food, had fun , they really were jolly then I came to know that Jasper and Diana are in relationship and what not. Classes that were after lunch were too boring. Then finally my first day in new school came to an end. In dispersal them bid them good bye and came back home. My first day was wonderful I didn't even expected that in one day I made so many friend because of only one person which is Tia. Lucky me.
