Wam!The gray wolf hit the ground with a thud. A sharp pain ran through his shoulder as he lay there, still unable to see. His senses were not awake yet and he struggled to see what was right in front of him. He was confuses. All he could do was feel the hard, dry dirt under him. then, He sniffed. He faintly smelled the scent of a human. So i'm not home. He thought. He heard the sound of a fence gate slamming. Immediately, he lifted his head up and soon, the world came into view.

There was a human. He was walking away and going back into the bushes wear he must have came from. NO! Thought the wolf as he tried to run at the human. He had gotten about 5 steps out when the fence came into view and he was pulled violently away by this neck and muzzle.he whined loudly from the pain. Something was around him and whatever it was, it had been there long enough to have worn a gash into his body that hurt every time he tried to move. He once again lay on the ground in defeat, looking around to see what was preventing him from running. Just as he had thought, big, wide chains were covering his body. That explains it.he thought to himself. As he looked around more, he saw how the chains were attached to a post in the center of a circle that was outlined on the ground. Clearly traced nervously from the stepped of the the previous occupant.

He tried to get up but his paws wouldn't let him anymore. So he just lay there waiting for time to pass him bye. As he did so, he studied his surroundings. He was enclosed in a fence. Most of the grass in said fence was very high and hard to see through, but in spots it was patchy and dry, like were his was sitting. Around the fence were giant trees. Bigger, thicker and with more leaves than he had ever seen in his life.

He so desperately wanted to be out in that kind of world. Not stuck to a pole in the ground waiting out the rest of his days for something that, most likely, would never come. He didn't want to want freedom. He wanted to already have it. The outside world was so tantalizingly close but yet just barely out of reach. He worried if he would ever go back to it. however, despite his dream of escape, he still couldn't remember what had happened. He remembered his family, his pack and his son, but he couldn't remember how he got here and he had now idea were he even was. So he sat there a waited for time to pass.

As he watched the wind howl through the tops of the trees, his attention was quickly shifted to the gate that quickly swung open and another, all black wolf with blue eye, came in with the human. But the human was struggling, for the she-wolf the human had, was pushing, thrashing wildly, trying to escape from the chains. She even tried to growl at the human despite how much pain must have been surging through her muzzle. She was acting so wild, it sent panic through the grey wolves' body and suddenly he remembered what had happened. Everything around him started to fade even if he could still see it. The moments started to flood in and he couldn't believe it.

He had just finished talking with his son and was now taking a moment to see out on all of his territory, lit up faintly by the moonlight for the last time.

"Sir!" called a beautiful brown colored she-wolf from behind him. He turned around to respond.

"Yes what is it?"

"the humans have returned. We need your help to defeat them."

"we are not defeating them we are sending them away. do not kill them Or they will attack"

"whatever! We just need you!" with that, the wolf got up off his paws. His son turned too, ready to fight.

"No. son stay here. I will return to speak you." with that the wolf ran off with she-wolf.

He began walking with her. Soon more paw steps followed and all the wolves of his pack were lined up in a straight line, really to fight if they had too. The she-wolf stepped up to him.
