Cubed Chapter 20: Lost...

"Seriously guys, we have to go on a scavenger hunt for sticks while you get to warm up around the fire," Aries says ignoring the tense air as he puts his pile of sticks down next to the fire.

"Sorry," Capricorn mumbles not really caring as she continues to stare at the fire lost in thought. Something is up, even Leo is acting weird.

"What did we miss?" I ask sitting down next to Capricorn and she quickly greets me with a fake smile.

"Nothing, I think we're all just tired," she says, I don't believe her. I turn to Leo and he gives me the same smile. I look towards Virgo but he just ignores my gaze.

"How about we sort out where we're sleeping," Capricorn says standing up.

"Wait, where is Sagittarius?" Pisces asks and we all look around worried now realising she isn't here.

"It's fine she just went to get some wood," Leo says and we all sigh before splitting off into groups and setting up our sleeping bags.

Sagittarius POV:

"Ugh, why did you get lost!" I call out nobody else around as I kick about in the dirt around me.

"Sagittarius," The voice announce. The unexpected call of my name makes me slip on the leaves I was kicking and I fall to the ground.

"Voice is that you?" I ask as I push myself up off the ground and brush the dirt off my clothes.

"Yes, Sagittarius. Sorry for startling you. You appear to be lost," The voice says I'm still unsure as to why the voice would care, but I go along with it.

"Yes, can you tell me the way back to the others?" I ask and there is a long pause before the voice speaks again.

"The others are in the opposite direction to where you are going, but you should keep walking the way you are going," The voice says leaving me confused. Is it just trying to screw me over?

"Why?" I ask and the voice for the first time I have ever notice sounds like it has some sort of emotion in its voice.

"Please, you should go that way," The voice it is talking faster and it sounds scared.

"Hurry now! you need to know! So many people have suffered and will suffer. It's the only way to-" all of a sudden the voice stops and a loud piercing beep is sent throughout the forest.

'Voice! Voice!" I call out my hands over my ears, but there is no return only the noise. The noise stops and I look around panicked. I look to where the voice told me to go, but then, I run in the other direction.

Cancers POV:

I laid my sleeping bag next to Taurus and I see him hide a smile. I let myself smile at the sight. Just then a loud beep was eating the forest around us we all covered our ears and look around.

"What's happening?" I hear Taurus yell from beside me.

"I don't know!" Capricorn yells in return. We all run together next to the fire with our hand still trying to pretty our ears from the piercing sound. Then it stopped. We all looked around confused.

"What was that?" I ask and we all separate.
"I don't know, Voice what happened?" Capricorn calls, but there was no reply.

"Maybe it was an accident," Leo says and we all turn to him confused.

"An accident?" Virgo asks with an 'Are you dumb' sorta look on his face.

"No, no, I get," Aries interrupts.

"Like, maybe the voice sat on the remote or something," he says and I laugh at the thought.

"Hey, it could happen right. I do it all the time," he says.

"I bet you do," Capricorn says and throws him a sleeping bag for Sag, but of course he just throws it on the ground. Capricorn sighs and turns to Pisces.

"Pisces do you mind doing your friend a favour by setting up her sleeping bag while she's out collecting wood," Capricorn says and Pisces looks intimidated from being stuck in the middle of their argument.

"How long has she been gone?" Aquarius asks out of nowhere.

"Shouldn't she be back by now?" She asks again and we all look at each other in silence.

"That noise, you don't think anything happened to her do you?" Scorpio asks Capricorn and she doesn't reply.

"What do you mean something happened to her? Is she alright?" Leo asks and Capricorn picks up her bag.
"Virgo you stay here and look after the others, Aquarius, Scorpio you come with me to look for Sagittarius," Capricorn says before saying a quick goodbye to Virgo and running into the forest.

"Wait, I'll help look," Leo says as he tries to stand up.

"Leo, you need to rest," Virgo says pushing him back up ageists the tree.

"It's fine the others will find her, everyone else should continue to pack up," Virgo says trying his best to take control.

Sagittarius POV:

I am still running through the forest I keep looking back as if I am expecting to see something chasing me, but there is never anything there. All of a sudden I run head first into something.
"Sag," I look up to see Aquarius, Capricorn and Scorpio looking at me with concerned eyes.

"What happened?"
