The Nerd I Loved (Block B Taeil)

Chapter 5

"Well, there is a boy that comes here everyday to sing but he's not in choir, so we don't really know him," another replied.

"But .. He sounds really good," I said, going into deep thought.

"Yeah, I've heard him before. He sings way higher than D.O.," the boy said as the two chuckled and one only glared at them.

"By the way, I'm Jongdae, but you can call me Chen," the boy that had been singing said.

"And I'm Baekhyun!" The other exclaimed happily.

"I'm Kyungsoo, but you can call me D.O.," the last one said. I nodded.

"I'm Lee Chaerin, CL for short."

"Oh, you're that popular girl!" D.O. exclaimed and Baekhyun nudged him.

"That's rude, Kyungsoo," he murmured.

"Mianhe~" he said, bowing. I chuckled.

"It's okay."

"You don't act like a popular girl," Chen said. I looked at him weirdly.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you're nice. You're really pretty, but you're really nice too, popular girls are usually snotty."

"I'm taking that as an offense," I said, glaring at them playfully.

"It's a compliment, CL, you're tough looking yet a softie."

I smiled. "So you guys have absolutely no idea who comes here to the choir room?" I asked once again. They all shook their head.

"Nope. He's cool, though. I talked to him once," Baekhyun replied. I nodded.

All of a sudden, a rush of panic came through me.

"I have to go, I might get in trouble for skipping cheer practice, bye! Nice meeting you three!" I said and waved goodbye. When I got out, I heard their voices sing as a trio.

Nope, neither of those voices is the one I've heard, but they still sound good.

Their voices started to fade away as I rushed to get back to the gym. Maybe some day I can finally see that mystery guy.

After practice, I walked up to Kai.

"Uh, Kai.." I started.

"Oh, hey Chaerin!" He greeted. I smiled. Did he forget?

"Oh, I was going to tell you, I can't go to the park today. I have way too much homework to do," he said. At that, my heart sank. I nodded, letting him know I understand.

"I'm sorry.." He said, caressing my cheeks.

"I-It's okay," I said nervously. He looked into my eyes and melted me all inside. Oh gosh.

"Jongin, c'mon!" Yelled someone.

"Oh, hi Chaerin!" Luhan greeted. I smiled and greeted back.

"Well, um, I have to go, bye!" Kai said as he waved and left with Luhan. Gosh, he's so .. PERFECT.

His hair.

Those eyes.

That tanned skin.

Those girly lips, how cute ^^

A girl can't ask for anything better.

When I got home, I was still upset over the date thing. Well, he had homework I guess, and so do I but I wouldn't have cared. I sighed and began working on my homework, feeling like the girl version of Taeil.

Why do I keep thing about him? He's always haunting my thoughts. Everything I do, Taeil comes to my mind.

I think I'm sick .. I can't be falling for him. No, we're just friends, plus I'd never fall for a nerd.

Never. Not in a million years. I sighed and threw my pencil on frustration. I grabbed my blonde (it's not a natural blonde,I dyed it a few weeks ago) hair in frustration. Why can't I get him out of my head?
