i feel a pit in my stomach;
the one that my heart falls into when it drops.

the decaying walls of this house i once called home are closing in on me; i can't breathe.

i'm trapped.
nowhere else to go.
bound to stay here, lying still in the broken glass that reflect the past that haunts me in my sleep.

nowhere else to look, but the glass of horrid past—unless of course i look up the white ceiling, but then i'll go crazy.

nothing else to feel but tiny little shards; each piece reminding me of the sorrow i hide from.

now i'm all alone.
got nothing else to do.
inside these little white walls,
i wait solemnly for you.
