Emerald, a gem with extraordinary powers, has broken out of the homeworld gems' ship and crash landed on Earth. With hints about who the Crystal Gems were, only with word from Homeworld, she meets them face to face.

Emerald, wrapped in chains, sat on the cold hard floor of the ship. She was being held captive, along with Lapis Lazuli, another gem, but she was in another hallway. She's been on this ship for two years, and counting. The door slammed open and she jumped. Jasper stood at the door, looking down at Emerald. "Look at you. Lonely. Depressed. Cold. You miss home, huh?" Emerald looked away, angry tears filling her eyes. "Shut up..." She mumbled. "What was that, brat?" She stepped forward, hooking her finger under Emerald's chin, forcing her to look at Jasper. "Nothing..." She moved her head away from Jasper's raspy breath. Jasper smirked, "Peridot!" Peridot walked into the cement room. "Yes?" "Hand me my weapon." Emerald's eyes widened as she looked at Peridot. "No, please." She begged. Peridot smirked and handed Jasper the tazer like weapon, "With pleasure." Emerald looked at Jasper. "That's enough!" Her gem on her forehead glowed, her eyes turning white. The tazer like object taken from Jasper's hands, snapping in half. Jasper looked at Emerald as she was finally able to snap her chains. She stood, wobbling a little bit, but eventually regaining her balance. She moved her hand towards Jasper's neck without touching it, clutching her hand into a fist, choking Jasper. She threw her to the ground and walked out of the room. She looked at Peridot, her eyebrows narrowed. Peridot jumped and ran to the escape pod. Emerald walked to the door, crushing it telepathically. She looked back, Jasper was missing. "Let's see how fast you can die in space!" Jasper yelled, throwing Emerald out of the space craft. She fell, fast and hard, turning into a giant fireball.
CRASH! "Pearl! Something just crashed into the sand!" Emerald heard the voices, her eyes blurring. She could barely breathe, her eyes not being able to focus. "Steven! back away from her! She's a homeworld gem!" "I don't think so Peal..." Emerald opened her eyes as much as she could. "Help... Me..." She mouthed as best as she could. She felt herself being picked up. "Garnet! What are you doing?!" "I'm saving her. Our job is to save the people and gems who need it." "Yeah!"
"I sure hope you know what you're doing, Garnet..."
