How a day can chage your Life

It was a beautiful morning, birds were chirping and the weather was just perfect. Vidhi woke up, saw the beautiful view and went to sleep again. It was weekend. She cannot wake up so early; she only gets the weekends to sleep in. She was bored of the monotonic routine life , she was going through. From office to home and home to office that's all she did. Clearing all such rubbish thoughts she went back to sleep some more but was unable to fall asleep, so decided to wake up and enjoy the beautiful day.

She got up from the bed and went in the bathroom. She was unable to understand but something was not correct, things seemed a bit 'off'. Planning for the weekend she went for breakfast. Dadi was reading newspaper and mumma - papa were at the breakfast table.

As she was about to ask meena (their maid) for breakfast, she saw an envelope on the table. It a wedding invitation. Wow ! she thought , this was a great chance to flaunt her new dress in front of everyone. She sat down on a chair and opened the card to see who is getting married and when.

Whattt !!!!!!!!!! Anvita was getting married. It was shocking for her and what was more shocking was whom she was getting married to, it was Aditya. She could not believe her eyes. She was devastated. How can this happen, she felt like being slapped hard. How can Adi do this to her, they just had a fight, that's it. They have had thousands of such fight in their 5yr relation but every time they managed to get back together due to the immense amount of love and affection between them. What happened this time? And Anvita , how could she do this, why did she agree to marry Adi, knowing that Adi and Vidhi were in love. Anvita was vidhi's best friend since childhood, they were very close to each other. There was no secret between them, they used to spend a lot of time together. Why was she marrying vidhi's love? Why did she even agree for such relation that she knows would hurt vidhi.

Vidhi was tormented and to add to her pain, the wedding was today. Vidhi thought this was a bad dream but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't snap out of it. No! It was real, it really was happening. She was so furious , lost in her thoughts, she couldn't control tears rolling down her cheek, she didn't realize and unintentionally pushed Meena aside on her way to her bedroom. Meena fell down and broke the tea cups she brought for vidhi's mother and father. Everybody was stunned to see this. Looking back at what she did to meena, vidhi apologized with teary eyes but no one reacted. She went to her room, she was crying her heart out. She tried calling Adi and Anvita but both did not pick up.

All the moments spent together with Anvita, the beautiful childhood memories every single one was passing by vidhi's mind. They used to play all evening till the sunset. Growing up with Anvita was like having a sister for Vidhi. They went to the same school, same class , same hobby class and what not. Their parents also used to plan all the activities according to both. They were inseparable. Anvita's and Vidhi's parents never tried to come between their friendship. Both of them were considered as a daughter by each other's family. When they grew up both went to the same college as well and had crush on the same boy- Aditya. He was also in their class, they used to talk about him and try to flirt with him. But Aditya had only one heart that belonged to Vidhi. Their love was very real. It was very evident after a while that Aditya liked Vidhi. By the time aditya expressed his love for Vidhi, Anvita console herself and was happy for both of them. She moved on and had no hard feelings for them.

Oh Aditya! He was the perfect guy, "the one" for Vidhi. He was charming, funny and caring. Anyone would fall for such a guy. Theirs was a match made in heaven. Vidhi had all the qualities Adi was looking for in a girl. They just clicked together from the moment they met. They use to fight a lot but all of the fights ended up making their bond more and more deep. They were inseparable. Their love for each other was very evident to one and all. The best part was that Anvita was the common best friend. She was close to both of them and despite the fact that she had a crush on Adi, she never thought of stealing him from Vidhi, but instead she was very happy for both of them. The equation of the trio was perfect. They use to hang out together and do all the fun stuff.

College life ended and so all the three of them set path for their career. Vidhi and Aditya got job in the same company and Anvita joined her uncle's business. All was going well and so Adi and Vidhi told about their relation to their parents. The relation was accepted whole heartedly. After 6months or so the parents met each to decide on the wedding. Everything was going good, but then why was Adi marrying Anvita? Can one fight break their relation to such extent? All such questions were making their way in Vidhi's mind.

She consoled herself and decided to confront Adi and Anvita both. She left for the venue where the wedding was happening. She went into Anvita room, she was not there. She searched her everywhere, asked everybody but did not find her, nobody was telling her anything. She became furious and went to find Adi. She went inside the groom's room, there they were-Adi and Anvita hugging each other. As she was about to interrupt their intimacy, Adi looked up. He was crying. 'Oh my! Why is he crying?' she thought. Anvita was trying to console him with teary eyes. 'They must have had a fight, May be they are cancelling the wedding or they might be feeling bad about cheating me' she thought.

Adi took out a photo and started crying aloud. It was Vidhi's photo. He looked at Anvita and said 'I still love her Anvita, how will I live without her, why did she left me like this, it was just a silly fight'. Anvita was giving her all in consoling Adi. But she was unable to! Both of them were crying. Vidhi tried to intervene

Vidhi: Why are you crying ? I will forgive you Adi just come back to me, and you Anvita I have no hard feelings for you but I want my Adi back!'

All Vidhi said was just falling over deaf ears, they were not responding at all. Vidhi was compelled to raise her voice but all the efforts were in vain. They were just not listening to her.

Anvita said to Adi 'See Adi, we have to live our lives, now that Vidhi is not here with us does not mean that we will also give up on life, she would not want us to be like this, crying for her'.

What was Anvita saying, Vidhi went close to Adi and he was just not looking at her, she was getting angry by the second. She threw the glass kept on the table beside her. The glass broke to pieces. Now she was able to attract their attention, Anvita and Adi looked at the table and then both of them just saw through Vidhi as if she was not there. Then she saw a big photo of her with garland over it,Vidhi felt the ground slipping under her feet.

It struck her, she remembered the time when she met Adi for coffee and had this silly fight and she left angrily. As she was crossing the road to get to the parking, a truck hit her. Everybody gathered around. Then she realized that why nobody responded to her , why no one was listening to her and why nobody was able to see her. ......... She was dead.
