the forest of wonders

Part 1

i was sitting in the moving van hating having to move i mean sure i was not a city girl but i had friends and seriously i am 11 my parents should have asked where's a wardrobe when you need one i get out my copy of victor hugos the hunchback of notre dame i know it may seem grown up but i am in the 9th grade so it was a school assignment so i started reading page one and fell asleep at the part where esmeralda gives quasimodo water when he begs the others for some water, i wake up in front of a three story house i get the attic as my bedroom its big and empty it has a stain glassed window like the one on notre dame i will add my cross and my bible on a desk under the window for Sundays(sorry i am not trying to push my religion down your throat i promise no more religious references) when i get all my stuff i set up my room and it looks very nice i go outside and see a forest i run in the forest and see a dryad she looked like esmeralda would and i walk backwards she floats away i try to follow her but she vanishes out of thin i run back to the house and see a boy at the door
